5/5 for the second in this trilogy! This book was jumping from the frying pan into the fire. The cryptids were thrown into a worse situation than the last book. There was so much drama! Some crazy stuff happened and I was so shocked! I need to read the last one right now!

Caught Juno mid yawn but it mostly looks like she‘s saying, “wow, what a great book!” And it was! Couldn‘t put it down, just like the first book in the series. A really great story and characters. #dogsoflitsy

Spectacle holds its own against 'Menagerie'. In Spectacle, the cryptids are both running and performing in Metzerger's Menagerie. But one fatal flaw in their plan finds them enslaved once again into the Savage Spectacle. Delilah once again will need to come up for a plan of escape.
I wish this could have been longer to allow for more detail of certain situations in the book. Otherwise I enjoyed it just as much as the first.

Holy cow!! I inhaled this book, read it in one day which is unusual for me. Like the first book, I could not put it down. It was fast paced and action packed. I really hope for more books in this series. 💓

I love this series! It's dark, disturbing #urbanfantasy (or maybe just dark fantasy) that really makes you think about the effects of slavery on others.
