I just devoured this book. Super easy read and quick-paced. Would have read it all in one day if I didn't value my sleep so much. Cannot wait to read the next in the series.

Next up is this YA science fiction. We're having extreme prairie winds today, so other than taking Peri for a walk, I plan on staying inside and clean and read (probably more reading) this afternoon.
I‘m on a sci-fi kick! Now that the kiddo is asleep I can give this one a shot. I‘m having Octavia/Lincoln feels from The 100 so a story of members of enemy species/armies falling in love sounds just right!
What a book!!! I love it and hate it for its brilliance!!!! Grrrr ❤️
Just bought this beauty. Before I walked out of the house today I said I needed a new book… As I was looking at a pile of to be read books… Can‘t wait to start it
☆☆☆☆
Great YA dystopian novel. It's not a traditional plot, mixing in Poe, Beauty and the Beast and aliens. Loved the male protagonist and the complicated relationship between him and the female lead. #bookaddict #booknerd #bookish #bibliophile #bookworm #booklove #bookstagram

Merry Christmas Everyone!
This book is AMAZING!! Alien invasion, apocalyptic survival, and points of view from both a human and an alien. Not to mention part of the story takes place in my city which is rare. I was completely absorbed in the story wanting to learn more and I can't wait for the next one!
Started this one last night. Already loving it!
#bookhaul The fiancé left me unsupervised in the bookstore. He hasn‘t learned yet. ?
Dear #secretsantagoespostal. If this book is in that lovely package under my tree. I am sorry. I know I said I'd never buy it for myself but I couldn't resist the 50% plus 20% off. And if it's not. Cool. I know I'll love what ever you picked. #bookadict
Teens + alien invasion + survival skills = awesome new YA SF.
While similarities to other SF/Survival YA fiction can be drawn, Zero Repeat Forever at least stands out for its unique vision of the aliens and for its very messy, very realistic character relationships.

Looking for a great #scifi read? #ZeroRepeatForever is the #newrelease you need to check out! Fans of #The5thWave will love this book!
So I guess this is kind of a win-win for me.
The plot of this book is fine and the cast is wonderfully diverse but the execution: yikesssss.
The writing is choppy and there was no character or relationship development. I just didn't care about any of the characters. The relationships are all romantic and none particularly scream "healthy relationship."
I wanted to like this book! It's set in Alberta, Canada where I live but not impressed.
Omg the author is Canadian! I figured out since the story is set near Calgary with some Australians...which is basically the entire area around the Rocky Mountains: Australian snowboarders
Total pretty cover impulse buy. Haven't even been bothered to read the summary. Even the freaking spine is pretty!
Happy Halloween!
He has no voice, or name, only a rank, 8th. He only knows the directives in his mind. His job is to protect his Offside. Until a human kills her.
16 yr old Raven is at summer camp when the terrifying Nahx invade taking control of the Earth. Isolated in the wilderness, Raven doesn‘t like feeling helpless but what choice does she have?
Thrown together 8th and Raven should feel only hate and fear. But their survival depends on trusting each other..
Really enjoyed this young adult science fiction adventure. The relationship between the two main characters ( who should be sworn enemies) was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Another beautiful cover. Onto my TBR. And TBP. But not for a while. I'm shopping for others today.
Omg pretty book I randomly found at Indigo. 10x the Plum Points event!
First lines for each POV character. I meant to have read this one prior to its release today, buuuut life. 🤷🏻♀️

I love crying at 3 a.m. 💔
This was slow at times, but incredibly poignant when it needed to be. You can probably guess the premise of this alien invasion story, but it was still worth it.
And look how pretty!
I loved it!! This book reminds me of the fifth wave series and also the partial series by Dan Wells. This is definitely one of my favorite books that I've read this year and I cannot wait for the second one to come out even though this doesn't even come out till August but I'm so excited for other people read this because I really enjoyed it. I'm also a huge fan of alien books. I can already tell that this is going to be a new fav series of mine!
