My friend chose this book for me. One of the youngest on Schindler‘s List, Leon tells his story about surviving the Holocaust. A good book for middle school/high school readers. Most have seen the movie but this explains the before and after of that terrible time. Schindler was a hero.

There are no words to do justice to review an account like this from the perspective of someone looking back on their experiences as a youth on Schindler‘s list. It will break your heart.

Finished in a sitting. Very harrowing tale. Perseverance, courage, and defiance. You don‘t get a lot of memoirs from this time period where it talks about what comes next. Thank you.

This is a remarkable memoir from Leon Leyson, one of the youngest children to survive the Holocaust on Oskar Schindler‘s list — it brings to readers a story of bravery and the fight for a chance to live...

I read this book as a recomendation by a friend from school. As an adult I was completley taken in by this book. I think this book is a great story of what actually was going on during WW2. This story is definetly appropriate for a younger audiance, it will just need to be tailed to more experienced readers.

I listened to this short autobiographical novel about a Jewish boy that was saved by Schindler during WWII. It was good but not gripping. The author wrote what happened, but a lot of the story takes place before and after WWII.

An amazing, heartbreaking memoir by the youngest boy on Schindler‘s list. In the same vein as Wiesel‘s Night, it‘ll make you cry more than once. Highly recommend.

A compelling and poignant #memoir of #LeonLeyson (born Leib Lezjon), one of the youngest survivors of the #holocaust on #OskarSchindler list. The atrocious crimes committed during the holocaust were just shocking and inhumane. The #Jews were persecuted immensely and this compelled Schindler (although a German) to help and save 1200 Jews, including Leyson and his family. This is one of the #bestmemoirs I've read so far. #audiobook #WWII #history
