I'm ready for NaNoWriMo--are you?
By "ready" I mean I know bits and pieces of the story I want to tell but absolutely nothing coherent. Book 3 of the Paranormal Curio series starts late Halloween night, and it's called The Pembroke Engine.

Reposting this awesome news for @LummoxJR (also known as my favorite brother 😉) These are such fun books! They are both a wild ride with paranormal phenomenon at their core. Lots of humor sprinkled in to keep things from being too heavy, but with fast moving plots and lots of bad guys to keep you on your toes! The Affix is FREE for Kindle for the next few days, so help spread the word and check it out! 😆
@LitsyHappenings
Sequel news: I have full notes back from one of my beta readers and I've been working to act on those, plus looking high and low for typos the betas missed (there were some). Still trying to reword one awkward sentence without losing the joke, and replace a joke that didn't land. But I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on the release!
Thanks @kylienoele for the tag! 😘
1. Kung Fu Fighting... I don‘t know why. 🤷🏻♀️
2. I can‘t, it‘s a beta read but it‘s the sequel to the tagged book and so far I love it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
3. I honestly have no idea. I‘ve read a lot of big books in my life.
4. I‘m tagging @That-Bookish-Hiker 😊
This was fun! @GarthRanzz
I really enjoyed re-reading this book! It had been a few years and I wanted to refresh my memory of the characters before bata reading the sequel. It‘s a fun, fast paced adventure (or series of misadventures, really) with a full cast of interesting characters, humor, sarcasm, and a supernatural disregard for the laws of probability. Good stuff!
Now to bata read the sequel, The Well Of Moments.
1. Celebrating my moms birthday on Saturday, and hopefully relaxing on Sunday.🎂
2. 5‘ 4” (too tall for “short” options, but regular pants are always a tiny bit long on me)🤷🏻♀️
3. I‘ve lived in this house for two years and two months, but I‘ve lived on this same street for almost 18 years.🏡
4. Tagged book. It‘s my brothers second book and its a re-read for me. When I‘m done I‘m going to beta read the sequel. 🙃
5. From Tuesday. 💋
1. NY, USA 🇺🇸
2. Fiction, Fantasy, Historical Fiction... I read almost anything. 📖⚔️🔮📡
3. Tagged book, and a few more. 📚
4. Give me all the bread and cheese! 🥖🍞🥐🧀
5. Two dogs. 🐶🐶
6. Do you ever see someone online and think that if you live in the same town, you‘d be BFF‘s?
(Oh yeah, that‘s why we have Litsy! 😉)
Eating the last piece of Valentine‘s Day cake while I‘m re-reading The Affix. Once I finish it I‘ll start on the bata read for the sequel, The Well Of Moments. I almost forgot how funny this book was! I remembered the fast pace and adventure, but I forgot how much it made me laugh!
@LummoxJR
While the sequel is in the hands of beta readers, here's the cover for the new book! Check out my blog "When I Become a Supervillain" for the full blurb, news and updates, and also recipes and rants. I'm planning to do a free promo for The Affix when the sequel launches.
I always bata read my brother‘s books for him. This one is a sequel to The Affix. I told him that I do want to reread The Affix first, since it‘s been a few years. But it‘s always exciting for me to read something new of his! 😊❤️
He‘s on here btw, although not much even though I pester him about it. 😉 @LummoxJR
I finally did NaNoWriMo again this year, so now the sequel to The Affix, called The Well of Moments, is going through editing and beta. The sequel is set three years later and puts Jasmine Treager in the driver's seat as the main character. Several familiar faces and names return, and some familiar artifacts too.
For today's prompt of #ZombieOutbreak for #Hallowreads I knew I had the perfect book! One Woke up, by my brother, Lee Gaiteri. This is his first book, it's a different kind of sci-fi take on zombies. Unfortunately I couldn't find it on Litsy, so I tagged his second book instead. 💀 @Tiffy_Reads @JoeStalksBeck
