Bookstore Cats

Nietzsche, my favourite bookseller, died on Monday. 😔 He was a total sweetheart who not only ran a bookstore* but raised lots of money to help homeless cats. I‘ll miss visiting him whenever I‘m in Chilliwack.

He‘s on the cover of the tagged book, too. Little dude was an icon.

Books and cats...clearly go together. I brought home a large book haul today from the thrift store, because clearly my book-buying ban is a farce. Bandit was less then helpful, and clearly being a curious cat. He climbed in and out of bags, knocked over my piles, and bit me because I wasn‘t petting him.

My aunt sent me an article about Nietzsche, my favourite bookstore cat, who made the cover of the tagged book! Nietzsche works at The Book Man in Chilliwack, BC, in the Fraser Valley, and you MUST go visit him if you're ever close by. He's a total sweetheart, and when you use your own bag at his store you get to choose a charity to donate to. Coincidentally, Nietzsche has a range of tote bags with his image on them.
