The Longest Rideππ§‘πππβ€
4/5 stars. I loved this movie, and because of that i picked up the book. I loved the two different relationships that you are reading about, however the movie makes you believe that they are more intertwined than they really are, and that was somewhat disappointing. This is still one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks though.
I saw a post for #ReadingUSA2019 yesterday. I would like to do that eventually, but I have several reading challenges for this year.
I decided to do a reading across your home state instead. I haven't decided how many of these I'm going to do yet. #NorthCarolina #NC #GroveParkInn #WakeForest
First up is The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks. I like the movie & I'm sure the book will be even better.
βRemember me with joy, for this is how I always thought of you. That is what I want, more than anything. I want you to smile when you think of me. And in your smile, I will live forever.β-Nicholas Sparks, The Longest Ride
I‘m not crying, you‘re crying! Nicholas Sparks has a way with writing that will bring you to tears, whether you like the book or not. I don‘t dislike his books, I just find them simply, βEh.β But I LOVED βThe Longest Ride‘!
If there is a heaven, we will find each other again, for there is no heaven without you." -Nicholas Sparks, The Longest Ride.
I'm not crying, there's just something in my eyes. ??
βοΈβοΈβοΈ

I'm soo happy to be here. ππ°
Coloring and an audiobook when I should be doing homework or studying for finals. π I really needed a good audiobook to get me back into listening to them after the last few burnt me out. This one has definitely done the trick. I've already seen (and loved) the movie, but I am really liking the book. (Perhaps even better than the movie, as usual π)
Nicholas sparks never disappoint me. I just can't believe that I doubted him my favorite Author.
anyway I ended up loving this story so much and of course I couldn't stop crying.
I loved everything about it. and the fact that there is always a lesson you can learn by the end of any book by the amazing Nicholas Sparks.
Some of the Stories Ira told where a little boring, but I just adored the ending and how he showed how much their painting collection's value didn't matter as much as another day with his Ruth, cried at the end. Book is definitely better than the movie but then again when is it not.π
I really loved this movie, but I found the book drawn out. However, it might just be my taste, I always find Nicolas Sparks books too long. (Exception to Safe Haven) I'm just not that big of a fan of his writing style. The story is good, but I felt bored throughout the book.
