Mid March was blah, but this past week was much better. My habits are simple: read every day, walk every day, and do some cleaning every day. Routines were established, and work-news-life balance is now better configured. Big news today was that the vacuum cleaner died! I blame the cat.

Tomorrow is the start of Holy Week, so I‘ll be thinking about how to observe that in light of stay-at-home and social distancing. #bfc28

The bookstore I manage shut down since we are in a Simon Mall. So today I spring cleaned my reading room from top to bottom. I guess I cannot go a day without cleaning bookshelves. lol. Be safe yall!

Spending the next few days scrubbing my apartment with my mom. Would rather be reading today and tomorrow but seeing my bathroom nicely scrubbed clean it is well worth it. I can always read in the evening. Tried to get a photo that looked nice but I couldn‘t get one.

I was going to save these for a giveaway, but the stack includes two DNFs and 1 ⭐️ ⭐️ book. They are either going to the VVA donation at work or (as in the case of two ARCs that can‘t be sold by the charity), to a Little Free Library.

Unfortunately, they are also being replaced by my latest Book Outlet haul. @Eyelit I have so failed at this #bookbuyingban 😬

When your mom is retiring after 33 years of teaching and offers you first dibs on her classroom library, you fill up your entire trunk with books (and book themed stuffed animals) and then try to figure out how to not freak out your husband with said trunk-full of books when it‘s time to pack up and drive home. My home library grew by a couple hundred and I also took a couple of boxes to my own classroom. Yay books!
