The Decatur Book Festival starts Friday! I‘m so going to miss seeing so many book lovers and authors in person, but if the summer Joshilyn Jackson Reads series is a warm-up, this is going to be a great virtual month of bookish happiness.

My most favorite weekend of the year is a wrap for 2018. Here is the #bookhaul! There may be one more book in the bag for the #FavoritePoetSwap 🤔Madeline Miller was definitely a highlight. She was so humble and kind and even teased that her next book will involve characters from the Aeneid. And Heather June Gibbons surprised me with a very touching inscription that I will treasure always. Already counting the days until the 2019 festival!
