Picked this up from th Library today. I needed to read it before the show comes out. I hope it's as good as everyone says it is.
Went to the used bookstore today didn't have a lot of time to browse so I grabbed the two books that I have been wanting to read that stuck out. I also didn't have to grab a library copy of the Essex Serpent, but I like the plastic over the jacket. They're both in new condition I just wish that stupid Oprah sticker wasn't there.
I REALLY need to read this book now especially since this book describes my relationship status (or lack thereof) so perfectly

I can't say enough about how good this book is. Please do yourself a favor and read it.
This book is really good. It's not a fast read, but it is eextremely hard to put down. There is always some basis of truth to fiction and no matter how many different books I read on the subject of WWII, I am still amazed how a monster could treat people this way.💔 pg 214 of 387
Rainy day in New Mexico. Hanging out with Annabel Lee and Reading. Pg. 182 of 387 #catsoflitsy #minipanther #literarycats
I've been in a bit of a reading slump the past few months, but am slowly getting back into it. I've had a lot of big life events happen lately and I am not the least bit thrilled about it, but it is what is. I've left Philly (kicking and screaming) to move to NM. I am working on a 3-4yr plan to get back there.
The library display at the Billings Montana public library.
Hibernating on a Sunday afternoon waiting for the Philly snow. I plan to not leave my room any time soon hence the backup coffee.
After the last 24hrs I've had, this beer is needed. Maybe a book too will make me as relaxed as Simba? #bottomsup #booksandbrews #booksandcats
Listen here Amazon. My Kindle has not moved from this case once in the 2yrs I have had it. Its virtually brand new. Giving me $25.00 off a new one is not a deal as far as I'm concerned (though I do really really want it). Come at me with a better offer and then we will talk.
Looking forward to starting book 2 of 2019.
Book 1 of 2019 finished. This was well written. Michelle did a lot of work and research for this book and it shows in her writing. It didn't scare me like it scared many others. I am sad that she didn't get to live long enough to watch this disgusting perv get arrested, and I am also sad that there won't be anymore books by her.

Is it bad that I laughed at this? 😂😂😂
Its 48 degrees out ( going up to 59) and I know that may still sound cold to some of you but after the artic blast Philly has had where we gave Siberia a run for their money, it might as well be 65. I figured I would spend the morning reading and knitting on the deck.
Pizza is in the oven I have my blanket and various cats all over the couch. Time for #litsypartyofone
Ugh why can't I be a normal person ( or like everyone else who has read this) and get scared by this book? This last page just made me go "oh s#!t".
Catching up on some reading this afternoon. Spent sometime knitting outside it's a beautiful sunny day in Philly. I am over the -8 degree temps. C'mon Spring! 🦋☕
Taking a break from #knitting to read. Ms. Annabel Lee is keeping me company and I am trying to decide if I want another press of coffee. #booksandcats #literarycats #snowday ☕🤔 #catsoflitsy
And it happened... I am not even close to being done with this one
Current library holds and wait times. It never fails. There will always be two books that come in at the same time. I have been waiting since October for the Lilac Girls
FINALLY my library hold came in! I have been waiting over a month for it.
Netflix is coming out with a new documentary about Ted Bundy and I am looking forward to it. #truecrime #serialkiller #murder

I have been in the biggest reading rut. No matter what I do I can't seem to break out of it which sucks because I miss it. I have until Christmas to finish this one because I promised I would loan it to my cousin.
