Almost too much pain and angst! There is enough miscommunication and stubbornness in this book to drive the most level-headed person crazy. I‘m a lot of ways, it really felt like a set up for the finally installment.

Ooof! Finished the winners curse in one night! Onto book two, it‘s safe to say I‘m hooked! I love Arin! 😍❤️
The end of this book was utterly making me anxious, like: 'OMG, this is killing me' and 'where is the next book now?' distressing, Lol.
If it were for the last chapters alone this Audiobook would be a solid five stars, but it took really long for stuff to happen, therefore I must take away one star.
I did enjoy the Audiobook narration of Kate Rawson very much too.
Oh my goodness! I cannot wait to read the next book!!!!! I need it now!
The descriptions in this book did fall flat, but it still made my heart hurt. How could her father do that?! How could any father betray his only child?!?!

Even Lola loves the Winner's Crime!

Was this book good? Heck YA! Was it stressful and painful? You know it!
This book was nearly the death of me. I almost gave up on it because literally NOTHING goes the way you want it to. However, I kept reading and although the ending was heart wrenching I found the last 100 pages to be super fast paced and entertaining
Rated 4/5 on goodreads :)

I liked this one so much more than the first book. Couldn‘t put it down. Great development of the characters, clever plotting and a nice slow burn on the romance element. Am jumping right into book 3!
My husband‘s college basketball team had a bad day so he insisted on martinis. Fine with me!! I‘m about a quarter into the second book of this trilogy and it‘s... fine. Waiting for it to pick up.
My book outlet order came in. All of these are for Yallfest in a couple of weeks. Luckily I‘ve already listened to some of these! Currently listening to The Winner‘s Crime. So very good.
Well, here's me again with the Winner's trilogy. Comparing to the first book, in this one you can actually see how the author has grown. Much more detailed descriptions, deeper characteristics of the characters, even more sickening twists and great plot. Love the medieval political schemes that are shown through the entire book. But still can't find the connection with fantasy, pure YA. Can't wait to see what happens in the end. 3.6/5
It's painful to read the words describing the death of your favorite character, but then, there are sentences that don't involve death, and hurt the same. This is for me probably the same thing, It's been a while since words that don't include death hit me so hard. 😢😢😢
Challenge | Day 01
I had so much fun with #booksacrossoceans that I didn't resist and I'll start another challenge!
(Thank you so much @pri_bibliophile and @mellisarock for getting me started on this kind of game!)
This is my (audacious) #tbr for September and #awesomeautumnbooks by @Jess7
This book is so beautiful ❤️
Really enjoyed the second book in the trilogy and thought that it lead the way for the conclusion of the series 'The Winners Kiss.' I loved the characters and how hard intense this book was to read! The book explores themes of politics, honour, sacrifice and self growth. Highly recommend you check this series out! 5/5 🌟

Have you guys read The Winner's Curse and The Winner's Crime?
Im still reading the second but so dar everything is amazing!
I hope things turn out well for Kestrel and Arin📚
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5
This book was absolutely gorgeous. I love Kestrel and Arin and the fact that the book is not all about the love story, but also about sacrifice, friendship and loyalty. I recommend The Winner's Crime to everyone! Read this trilogy please!

It's been about a month since I finished the Winner's Curse but I'm excited to see what happens next with Aaron and Kestrel 📚
I enjoyed this but it took me a long time to read. Kestrel was very indecisive throughout the book and I knew it would eventually cost her. The set up totally blew me away and can't wait to read the third book!
But he said nothing after that, only her name, as if her name were not a name but a question. Or perhaps that wasn't how he had said it, and she was wrong, and she'd heard a question simply because the sound of him speaking her name made her wish that she were his answer.
Finised The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski for #LitsyAtoZ and #LetterW - a great book and loved the twist at the end - can't wait to see what happens next
This book gave me anxiety in the worst and best way! Can't wait to read the last book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love the covers of these books - so pretty! And I really wasn't expecting where this book ended. 😳
#seasonsreadings2016 - My over ambitious tbr for December. The one's on the left I'm currently reading.

Oh my GOD, that ending though! I'm very glad I waited for this trilogy to be complete so I can begin book three immediately! Because DAAAAMN!!!💗💖💗💖
Just finished this and I was pleasantly surprised. Couldn't believe all the plot twists! This took a sharp turn from the fairly tame romance aspect of the first book in the trilogy. I can't wait to get home and start the last book.
I love Marie Rutkoski's writing so much. Everything's well research and she's a lovely lady. 📚

Loved this sequel! It was even better than the previous one. The protagonist is really intelligent and it moves the plot along instead of getting bogged down in misunderstandings. Highly addictive, I can't believe I haven't read this sooner
Excellent book. I read and read until I was done. Till four am. With work in the morning.....
I do enjoy reading about Kestrel and following her character development. I will admit that Arin makes me want to pull my hair out rather frequently. Im going to enjoy reading the next one (and hoping these characters get their lives together).
This little one is studying war maps...for no reason I'm sure.
After being less than impressed with book 1, I'm glad I gave book 2 a chance because I enjoyed it more than I expected to. All aspects of the story felt improved upon. I loved Arin's journey and that he had a stronger storyline this time. The whirlwind ending made me interested in what happens next.
I had mixed feelings about The Winner's Crime, but I feel this one has already started off stronger.
Some light morning reading. I'm really enjoying how complex this book is getting in terms of world building and character relationships.
