This book is seriously huge.

Like The Night Circus, this is a very atmospheric novel that is a bit light on plot. Quick read.

I really enjoyed this book about a teenage girl disguised as a boy traveling west to join the California gold rush. Unexpectedly diverse with a strong and competent female main character.

Just finished this on audio this morning and I love it so much I selected as my September BOTM, highly recommend. Unexpectedly emotional read.

Loved this! Highly recommended for those who enjoyed Lev Grossman's Magicians trilogy and/or Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
