Love this series
I‘m currently participating in a Lady Darby Read-Along on FB which was created by the author. It‘s so cool! There are currently 9 books in the Lady Darby historical mystery series, and we‘re reading one each month (currently on this second one). We can post comments/questions all along the way and Ms. Huber answers. We have a FB live with her once a month and she gives her insights into writing each book and does a reading. ❤️❤️❤️
Diane!! You have definitely spoiled me!! I don‘t know what I did to deserve all of this awesomeness!! The scarf is gorgeous! The lavender eye pack is definitely what I need!! The pens, the lip balm!! You know me well! The nail polish 💅 is beautiful!! Can‘t wait to paint my nails! The books sound awesome!! Which book is first in the series? I love everything! Felix loves the ✏️ I had to steal it back! You are awesome and I‘m grateful for you! ❤️ U
#BookReport - Finished 1 book and read 300 pages of another book and bailed on it.
In progress- I‘m 110 pages into the Secret Place, 150 pages into The Paying Guests, and I am 9:53:47 into The Amber Spyglass

I think this book made me love this series even more and make me want to read the rest right now! But I don‘t own them and the libraries are closed, so I can‘t. 😒
But I love Keira and Gage. The mystery of where the girls were, was a bit obvious. I don‘t know if it was supposed to be or not. Will‘s story is so heartbreaking and it‘s insane how people with mental illness were treated back then.
#NutsInMay #Readathon #BookSpinBonanza - Book 5?
Started this book last night and am already 180 pages in!! I‘m loving this book, clearly!
This is book 2 in the series and I am probably going to go on and read all 8! I‘m really bad at continuing series 😬😬
Buddy was feeling very needy and was mad I was reading and not paying attention to him 😂 or letting him on the couch 🤷🏻♀️
My latest #bookhaul
I had a free book on #ThriftBooks that was going to expire this month and then I obviously had to get enough books to get free shipping 😂😂
I support my choices 💚
I love how this series had a bit of an edge that many historicals don't have yet it still has that hopeful side too. Lady Darby is the Bomb!
I just discovered the Lady Darcy series by Anna Lee Huber, and I became instantly addicted. The series is set in 1830‘s Great Britain. The main characters have great chemistry, the plotting is well done, and the historical details really add to the series. I finished the first two books in 2 days, and I am feeling grateful it is a 3 day weekend. Highly recommend.

I‘m completely addicted to this series. I put a hold on Book 3 as soon as Book 2 came in and now I can delve right into the next one!
Book 2 in the series does not disappoint... it deals with a great mystery and a historically-accurate look at how mental health was treated in the early 19th century.

Well I‘m going to be tearing through this series for the rest of my break.., forget my previous TBR 🤷♀️☺️
My reading has slowed down lately (blaming all the holiday cheer)so I just finished this last night! But I loved this book - and was frustrated every time I had to put it down until I got to the end.
I thought the mystery was a little more predictable than the first of the series but the continuing character development is wonderful. Immediately ordered book 3 and can‘t wait to get back to Lady Darby and Gage! *sigh*
This 2nd book was a disappointment after I liked the 1st one so much. It started really slow and took forever to get to the mystery. Even after it got into the mystery, it still moved slow with very little action and way too much time spent in Kiera's head with her thoughts. Everything was over explained. The banter between Kiera and Gage was missing and there wasn't any spark between them.
Another great installment to the Lady Darby mystery series. This one was rather heart wrenching as she became involved in trying to prove a friend's innocence who has suffered horribly from a tragic past. This author does a good job of researching her time and place....enjoying my time in Lady Darby's world. 😊 #romantsy #osrbc 5/5⭐️
Diving straight into the second Lady Darby mystery, as I so enjoyed the first! Got a large chunk into it today with lots of driving this evening. #audiobook #historicalmystery
While it's not a book specifically set by the sea, tides and boats are important to the story. From one of my favorite authors of historical mysteries, the climax scared me silly. #booksetbythesea #somethingforsept
the second Lady Darby mystery!
