I sped through this via audiobook in the last two days. I love Phryne, and she is at her sassiest in this book. The narration is great as always. I would highly recommend this series. 5⭐️

Now, on to book 18 which happens to be my favorite in the series! 🤓

Phryne is hired by a mother who is adamant her adult son would never commit suicide & by a lawyer acting for a family who need to know if their mother had an illegitimate child. Numerous enquiries find that the cases are crossed. 5⭐️
