I love these books. Continuations of the Firefly story before the movie. This one has the Firefly crew going to a planet to help the locals with the bad guys trying to steal their water.

Boy is it confusing reading a book where there is a guy Jayne and a girl Jane. Especially on audio! Like waiting for them to use pronouns.

I‘m going to NC on a work trip Monday and I think this will be the physical book I take with me! (And my kindle of course)

🎧 Second book in the Firefly book series. I didn‘t think it was as good as the first one but not that far off.

The first scene 😆 River wearing Jane‘s hat was hilarious!

So Jane, an X-GF, a suspiciously aged daughter, a rescue, a betrayal, an outlaw gang ...

A very nice & worthy extension to the show!! I hope they keep these coming!!

OMG HOOPLA!!! 🤗 I own 2 of the books & when I found the first book for free on Audible I grudgingly listened and LOVED IT!! I just ran across the first 3 books on Hoopla!! CLAIMED!! Back to having 4 books on loan! Hoopla has really come through for me while Libby ... not so much 🤨 gonnabe a fun book week!!

FIREFLY!!!!!! I'm loving reading through this series, and seeing a different side of Jayne in this one was great!

An old flame of Jayne Cobb sends a desperate plea for help into the Black, and the crew head to the arid planet of Thetis. There they face off against a violent outlaw gang intent on monopolizing the planet's most precious resource - its water.

This reads very much like an episode of the TV show, and I enjoyed spending time with the crew - though I would have preferred the focus more on one of my favorites, Jayne comes off well.

This was such a great book. Loved the story, loved the dialogue, loved getting to spend time with the Serenity crew. Everything about this book was just perfection. There were so many laugh out loud moments, and a few tearful ones as well. I liked book one (Big Damn Hero), but this one blew it away.
