My parents have since Day 1 supported my passion for reading 🥰 I always look forward to one of my Christmas gifts from them being a box of new books for the year ahead, and this year was another HIT 🙌 I always have such a hard time choosing which one to read first 😂 #ReaderProblems (They also gave me a Book planter but I haven‘t put a plant in yet, so enjoy my amateur photoshop skills 😂)

After being off for 5 days (yay, Mardi Gras!), I‘m not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. I‘m settling into bed with what is hopefully a light read before I go to sleep. It‘s a #blameitonLitsy book. 😊

This is a cute, coffee table book for book lovers. Organized by topics, such as banned books, literary feuds, etc., Tarrant takes the reader on a trip full of literary love. It was enjoyable, but not worthy of a re-read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #netgalley

Today is the Day! 📚💛

This #BookAboutBooks is between “so-so” and “pick” for me, but the subject matter made me round up! 😊 Thanks, #NetGalley - this book is a collection of little anecdotes about writers, books, publishing and the lives of authors. It‘s more UK-centric, but there‘s some efforts to include facts from around the world of writing. I wish that there was a clearer age for the audience and it felt a bit more up to date (the book lists are all quite dated).

I'm currently reading this book!!

People who love books, reading & authors will love this book. It‘s like a compilation of People magazine stories, but focusing solely on authors. There is information galore on famous feuds, who drank what & when, how & where certain authors liked to write, muses & obsessions, and just plain gossip. However, buried under the 21st century short attention span sections is some real, solid information about authors, writing, and reading. Out in June.

Wonderful book made just for us book lovers!! I will probably read this many times. Theres definitely some great history about certain books and literature. I learned alot!
