I have to admit I am a reader who looks at the cover and is intrigued by them. If it is intriguing enough I'll take a look at it, BUT, the cover isn't always important lol. But this cover was so pretty and neat, and these two sentences just caught me.

This story keeps shocking me!!!

This book was slow for me at first, but it quickly picked up. Heart of Thorns deals with love, anger, grief and shares the struggle of all women through a fantasy medieval world. Definitely a good read.

I usually go to bed around 10/10:30. I was reading and got to page 200 when I looked at the clock. It is now 1 A.M. I definitely read past my bedtime .

Loved this!

I breezed through this book way faster than I expected to, especially for 60+ chapters. It may be a bit formulaic, but no one annoyed me except the heroine and even then, not as much as some. I personally enjoyed the book way more than I was expecting too!

Anybody read this yet? I finally got back to the library and this looked really good! Well, let‘s find out 😍

The book was ok. Nothing more. A bit bland and far too many tropes ... Kind of meh but the story was well written, so I did enjoy the read.

I haven't posted a #duckquote in a loooong time, not because so did not find #duckquotes, but because I was lacking the energy to post much here. But here is one of hopefully many more!

I heard mixed things about the book, but I love the prologue😍 hopefully the rest of the book can hold up!

Fun, feminist start to a new fantasy series. The story hooked me fairly quickly & I liked how magic was tied into politics / culture of the different kingdoms. Characterizations sometimes weren't as developed as I wanted, & the twists at the ending didn't get enough time to feel fully fleshed out. I enjoyed this one, but it didn't blow me away.

Also, trigger warnings for discussions & brief depictions of sexual assault / rape.
