One of many backlist's I will read this summer.

Luck in the title: Luck, Love, and Lemon Pie. Could also be used for pie. Or recipe. Too bad it wasn‘t that good of a book. #bookishbingo

Not the greatest book, but I rarely bail on a book. Married couple, on the rocks, gambling, lemon pie, Vegas. But it satisfies Wisconsin or Nevada.

Alls the feels were had with this book... on the surface it‘s about a middle-aged woman trying to keep her marriage intact but at it‘s core it is about remembering who you are as a person and what do you hold important! Plus, it made me want lemon pie really badly!! 😋

The laundry is done and the house is clean... now to curl up wit the bad boy until I have to get ready for work!

Cute book. It was aimed for slightly above my age bracket but I still enjoyed it.

So I try not to complain on here, but this just happened to me. I was in a packed waiting room reading. This mother and teenage daughter sat on either side of me because they were the only seats left. Had I been paying attention to the family dynamic and not reading I would have given up my seat to let them sit together but I digress... it's quiet for a minute and I hear one say "hand me my lip gloss" and the other proceeds to right over my book!

Not a bad book, but not in my recommendation list neither. Perfect if you have some audiobook time while doing other stuff. As often, I noticed myself talkng to the MC when doing stupid stuff:-) That is for me the sign I enjoyed it:-) A three star novel. Book 9/275

I wish I had some of the titular lemon pie. Beyond that, no complaints about today!

Not your typical #romantsy, this was still a fun read, refreshing in that it features older women, who know what they want and then struggle go get it. I liked the characters, all the bits about poker, and of course the happy ending.

This was so cute and enjoyable! Fluffy rom-com read. Also the protagonist is in her 40s so that was a nice perspective to have.
