I‘ve managed to keep up with all my daily reading so far. Lark Rise isn‘t what I thought it would be. Glad it‘s a chapter a day only. Loving all the other buddy reads.
Just started the Connolly (my first of his) so far I like where I think it‘s going. Also not too far into Girl in a Pink Dress but liking it. Still need to start The Fox Wife.

Hoping to finish both If I Survive You andThe Other Eden today and then it is all about Covenant. Next up are 3 library holds. I‘m expecting to love Learned by Heart not sure about the other two.

How exciting that it‘s time for the first #weeklyforecast of 2023; it means that I can make a start on all those challenges!
Wild Coast covers 3 countries for #readingtheamericas23, and I‘m sure I can find prompts for the other books - hopefully #doubledipping across a few challenges.
I‘m LOVING Violin so far @MicheleinPhilly ;it would probably have made my #top22of2022 had I read it last year.
No #bookreport since I haven‘t completed anything since my monthly wrap-up.

McKinsey and the Irving are ongoing so will continue with those this week. I‘m definitely going to start Mexican Gothic for November‘s #authoramonth, and it‘s a #buddyread with @Caroline2
I *may* pick something off the shelf for #nonfictionnovember, but really I‘m anxiously waiting for Tuesday to find out what‘s on #booked2023 so I know what *not* to read this year! 🤣

Started A Town Called this morning (eventually!).

It‘s been a while since I did one of these! My reading has been off the boil for a while, so New Year‘s Resolution has to be to do more reading😊. Sticking to my book-a-week goal, I‘m keeping it light. I started Murder at Christmas last week, and want to finish it before moving on to my book club‘s choice for discussion next week, The Great Gatsby, which will be a reread for me.

Top row: books I read before the #readingretreat. All were great apart from Tides, which was just OK.
Middle row: books I read on the retreat. Didn‘t like the Whitehead but the others were fab. Still to review Wolves.
Bottom row: suffering from major retreat hangover now so Stolen Ones will be a great palate cleanser ⬇️

I completed a bunch of books last week, much to my surprise! My favorite was Early Morning Riser which was gifted to me by @DivineDiana 😘😘 I‘m having quite the New York adventure, including an almost hurricane which forced my Sunday wedding to be postponed to Monday🤪It‘s really a mess but I‘m learning to go with the flow…life is FULL of unexpected twists
