Wrapped Up in You
Wrapped Up in You: A Heartbreaker Bay Novel | Jill Shalvis
6 posts | 3 read | 2 to read
Its love. Trust me. After a lifetime on the move, Ivy Snow is an expert in all things temporaryschools, friends, and way too many Mr. Wrongs. Now that she owns a successful taco truck in San Francisco and an apartment to call home, Ivys reinvented life is on solid ground. And shes guarded against anything that can rock it. Like the realities of a past shes worked hard to cover up. And especially Kel ODonnell. Too hot not to set off alarms, he screams temporary. If only his whispers werent so delightfully naughty and irresistible. Kel, an Idaho sheriff and ranch owner, is on vacay, but Ivys a spicy reason to give his short-term plans a second thought. Best of all, shes a tonic for his untrusting heart, burned once and still in repair. But when Ivys past intrudes on a perfect romance, Kel fears that everything shes told him has been a perfect lie. Now, if only Ivys willing to share, Kel will fight for a true love story.

Finished this one on Wednesday night. Jill Shalvis is a comfort author for me. Unfortunately, I read her books too fast! While this story took place around Christmastime, it really didn't play a part in the plot. I loved both main characters. Both had been burned by family and didn't trust easily, especially with their heart. A very good book. Now I don't know what to start next!

Ok, I'm back. Been gone too long. Surgery didn't go well, I've just been working and not doing much. But I miss Litsy and my friends here. So I am definitely back. This is my current read. I'm also writing #LitsyLove and #jb mail today since it's a rainy day. And I have several recent reviews to add here. Hope you all are having a great Sunday.

Reading a festive romance on this lovely first day of Fall...at least until I get my hands on a copy of Wayward Son tomorrow.

Curling up on this last beautiful day of summer with a book I know will suck me right in. Shalvis‘ books always put me in happier and more peaceful mood and that‘s just the tone I want for the upcoming school year. #backtoschool #lastdayofsummer

Christmas in July!

Also, does anyone else have a notification in their Goodreads app that never goes away? It annoys me so much.

#currentlyreading #romantsy

IvoryLunatic On the phone app, I have to click on my notifications twice for them to go away but I haven't had that issue yet. 4mo
nitalibrarian @IvoryLunatic That doesn't work for me, unfortunately. It has a “Sorry, something went wrong“ message every time I click on the notification. Re-installing the app didn't help either. 🙃 4mo
