We meet four good friends and their families vacationing together in France.
 
What could go wrong in a quaint, beautiful villa in Southern France?? 

Quite a few things.

The ending was typical, amazing Mr. Logan that was oh so good and satisfying because most of the characters were not likeable.

A messy and fun reread! Straub is great at writing a dynamic between two couples and her young characters are believable, too.

Amidst Jim‘s cheating scandal, he and Franny take off on a Mallorcan vacation. Their daughter hopes to lose her virginity before college while their son tries to hang onto his girlfriend, who is also along on holiday. Franny‘s oldest friend Charles and his husband hope to hear they‘ve been chosen to adopt a baby.

Enjoyed this one! You think it‘s about one thing, but it ends up being something else entirely. Four college friends, now in their 40s and with families, all vacation together in France, where secrets and lies are revealed. Some really good twists!

This mystery/thriller fell flat for me. I can‘t even describe it as a thriller. It was more of a mystery book. The mystery and plot was interesting, but easy to connect the dots. The narration switched between most characters which added a different view on the situations. Overall it was enjoyable.

Between a pick and a so-so.. 🤔 .. I did skim around through some parts, but the twists and intensity held up.

Hoping this one doesn‘t disappoint since I feel like I‘ve read soo many like this this year.. 😜🧐

This is a moody suspense novel surrounding a group of college friends, now in their 40‘s with families and drama of their own, they all commit to a week long vacation in France at an exclusive chateau. Life has become more complicated now, and it seems like each person seems to have their own secrets. In this group some secrets are worth killing over. A decent suspense novel, but not my favorite by this author.

I'm listening to this one while stitching my travel poster for The Wall (A Song of Ice and Fire). Really enjoying the stitching. Enjoying the book a bit less. Here's to hoping it gets better.

This is a domestic thriller at its finest! I was so intrigued by the dynamics that colored each family unit on this vacation. Additionally, the mystery is on point. Who the heck was Sean messing with?! I couldn't figure it out! Yep, I inhaled this one. Fantastic job, Mr. Logan! 😁🙌♥️♥️♥️📚📚📚

I am currently reading this one. But I am probably going to binge watch tv today. I need to zone out on nothing. This is the 7th book of the #readathon. I did move my percentage up one point on NetGalley. And I have two more reviews to write @Andrew65 #jubiltationjuly

I read Lies by T.M. Logan and enjoyed it so I had high hopes for this one. It fell short for me. It was a slow burn for the first 80%. The ending did kick it up but it took far too long to get there. Mostly just drama between four families and their children during a vacation to France and maybe Kate‘s husband is cheating on her? That‘s basically all you get for the majority of the book.
