Sweet series. Glad I finally read this one too. Perfect summer read.
Sweet series. Glad I finally read this one too. Perfect summer read.
This is the third Moose Springs Alaska book and honestly I think it's my favorite of the series. We get Easton's story as he falls for an actress/director who is trying to film a documentary of the town. That obviously doesn't go so well so he guides her crew on a climb of Mt. Veil. The characters and romance felt realistic, plus there was some good mountain climbing adventure and high stakes.

I like the vibe of this book - small Alaskan town, lots of love stories waiting to be told. But this one takes place during a serious mountain climb where the heroine and her film crew make stupid, life-threatening decisions. It took the fun out of the romance for me. I may still check out the others in the series.
Also finished this one on my Kindle. It was an enjoyable, fun read set in Alaska. A crew from L.A. come up to film a documentary of Moose Springs, but the residents want nothing to do with the filming. However, River is not to be deterred. Enter Easton, who winds up roped into all kinds of "help" for the crew, including taking them up Mount Veil,
I loved the first two books of the Moose Springs series. The third installment left me a bit underwhelmed, but still a decent read on a cold winters night.

This was my favorite of the series. The characters continue to grow and I loved the outdoors setting. Not just being in Alaska, but experiencing the wilderness and the excitement of climbing. And the hero? Well, he was pretty awe-inspiring too! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks #Pantone2022 #Spunsugar @Clwojick
A soft pick. This series is starting to lose me a bit. Some characters are starting to be too much. Still a feel good chilly read! Close to a bingo on this board! #wintergames2021 #teamgamesleighers
These give me the warm and fuzzies. Makes me want to go to Alaska and have an adventure.

1. Cabin or RV. Never been in a yurt though it sounds really fun.
2. Camp Blue Water!
3. The tagged really made me want to go mountain climbing and I don‘t even like heights 😂
4. Read at least 2 books with at least one being from my own shelves and not the libraries!

It was okay. Better than the second book but it was too contrived. This is a series that didn‘t really work for me. I think she would‘ve been better off with having book 1 as a stand alone instead of trying to do a series.
Plus, the narrator‘s attempt at a Wyoming accent (whatever that is) sounded wrong. Not sure she‘s ever been to Wyoming. My friend Ali is from Wyoming and I‘ve been there several times but never heard anyone sound like that.
Well this was everything I had hoped this series could be - at last! Great hero and heroine, a degree of peril and a marmot for comic relief. Loved it!
I didn‘t know this was a part of a series, but I loved this book. The romance felt real and the adventure was great. I wanted so badly to see their documentary in the end.
I liked this book, but not because I was that attached to the heroine, River. The OTP, for me, was Easton and the marmot. Of all the male leads in Moose Springs, Easton is my favorite, he's just a warm cinnamon roll in the shape of a sexy mountain man.
Book 26 of 2021
River is filming a documentary about the town of Moose Springs, Alaska. She's going to prove herself, no matter what it takes or what mountain she has to climb.
Easton Lockett may be a gentle giant, but he knows a thing or two about survival. Falling for River only makes Easton's job tougher; it'll take all of Easton's skill to get them back home safely...and convince River she should stay in his arms for good.
Our Assisted Living residents got their second vaccine doses this morning and we're celebrating Groundhog Day in our Winter scene. Started the tagged book this morning.
What was River thinking? So irresponsible! So stupid! 🤦🏻♀️
Another charming installment in the Moose Springs series (probably my favorite of the three!). Funny and heartwarming, with all the charm we‘ve come to expect from the Moose Springs residents.
Release day for the third book in the Moose Springs, Alaska series! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 @BookishMarginalia can attest to the fact that I did a literal happy dance.
Best of the series. Romance with a huge dose of adventure, that caused a tad bit of anxiety (I don‘t see myself ever being a mountain climber). I hope there are more Moose Springs Books. #AnyWayYouReadathon
I‘m packing it in early today cause I‘m beat. Hoping to finish Enjoy the View tomorrow, so far it‘s fun and cute! I should get more time in tomorrow as I‘m planning a walk to get some audio (and fitness) time in and some chilling on the couch! #AnyWayYouReadathon
