A classic sort of love story...except somebody might wind up dead. Nobody knows Delilah like Logan does. Nobody. He makes sure of it by learning everything he can through her social media and watching her through a hidden camera he has trained on her house. Some might call him a stalker. Logan prefers to be called "romantic". But after Logan sees Delilah killing her abusive stepfather, he realizes there's still more about her to discover. His sweet, perfect Delilah isn't so perfect after all. Delilah knows she should feel guilty, but all she feels is free. She's so over the men in her life controlling her. Except Logan saw what she did, and he won't let her forget it. Delilah is done being the victim. And she refuses to be a character in Logan's twisted fantasy. If Logan won't let her go...she'll make him.

What did i just read? This book is crazy. The main characters Both were insane and in need of help. This book was like a teen version of the show you. I dont know how i feel about it to be honest. I couldn't put it down but i hated every character. Just wanted to know who will win at the end. I also feel like so much was missing. Maybe there will be a part two.

I really liked this book. Whenever I picked it up, I found it hard to put down. I thought there were some really good twists that I didn‘t expect and that the story was disturbing but a complete page turner. I wish the ending had more to it. I would like to have seen a little bit past the point where it ended to see where everything ended up, but other than that, I really liked this book!

Flew through this in about two days. Biracial rep is always a win for me. Sweet revenge on a crazed stalker? That doesn't hurt either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The writing was excellent and I loved Delilah‘s character. However it was insanely predictable and the end felt anticlimactic.

After Delilah deals with her abusive stepfather, ending his reign of terror over her and her mother, she thinks she's finally free - only to find herself at the mercy of another controlling male, only this time the guy thinks he's in love with her. For the most part, you get what's in the blurb, but this one and darker, twistier, and better than your average YA love story!

“The past year or so, he had broken me down, softened me until I was nothing more than this useless, simpering lump with a quavering smile.“ When I first read this part of the book, I remember feeling worried, sad, and heartbroken. It felt very tragic to see this character, Delilah, express herself in such a way because of how her abusive step-father treated her.

The Obsession follows two main characters, Logan and Delilah. Logan is obsessive, creepy, and his judgement is completely clouded by his mental state. Delilah is a killer, a drug dealer, and now in the shackles of Logan, who somehow knows all her secrets. You go from loving the main characters, to hating them, to loving them again, until the very end where you end up ignoring everything that‘s happened and just enjoy their deaths.

From one crazy to the next! Delilah really had to learn to fend for herself here, 12/10 would recommend to anyone!! Logan loses one girl he went crazy to stalk, to find another one to crazily stalk. Who knew Delilah would find a way out? Guess you‘ll have to read it to see how she did…

A disturbed, obsessive stalker vs a girl who has had it with being abused and victimized by men. Delilah goes pretty far in her efforts to reclaim her life but I was rooting for her all the way. The end felt a bit abrupt and I'd have liked an epilogue but overall I enjoyed this creepy cat and mouse game.

Lots of reading yesterday, and I finished The Obsession, started prior to October, and made progress on Dead Dead Girls... until the audio returned this morning. o.O Thankfully I have the physical book and it's for a book club meeting later in the month.

I am in no way saying that everyone should deal with their stalkers the way Delilah does... but I will help you with your alibi if you need it. Just saying.

I really enjoyed this wickedly delightful read that puts a spin to the usual stalker novel. Totally recommending this one! Also, first book done for #Scarathlon2021 and #TeamSlaughter.

108 of 2021. Logan and Delilah go to an elite boarding school in California. After meeting Delilah, Logan becomes obsessed with her. The craziness unravels from there. You decide who is or isn‘t the crazy one. This was an enjoyable YA thriller. I will continue the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A quick and dirty read! Lol. About murder. Warning there is some content about spousal and child abuse.

I got sucked into this YA thriller so fast! I got a lot of You vibes, mixed with Pretty Little Liars. Logan becomes obsessed with Delilah and vows not to make the same mistakes he did the last time he had an obsession, though he prefers not to call it that. But Delilah has secrets she needs to protect so the last thing she needs is a stalker watching her every move. Plus, she‘s not about to become a victim - not again.

It's such a good read, I couldn't put it down. The author writes so well that you alternately feel sympathy for and creeped out by both Delilah and Logan. The only thing I could have done without is the paragraph about feeding the poor rat to the snake.

Overall, it's a great read which puts a different spin on the thriller genre. 4🌟
