How was the end of the week? School closed today due to snow and frozen conditions. Spent they day talking to teachers if 3 - 7 year olds as we refined the Remote learning offer for the children. Time to hopefully get into #JoyfulJanuary Readathon this weekend.

BookwormM Busy day with medical appointments but made a change from working also made healthyish fruit crumble as a treat with Vanilla ice cream. 3y
Lynnsoprano Getting ready for a visit tomorrow from our son and his family. Last of the Christmas gifts to be exchanged. Took some time to read today, trying to get out of my slump. Between family and American football playoffs, won‘t be much reading time this weekend. 3y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick A fairly quiet workday for me (my GM not so much) so I can't complain. I don't think he needs me other than our revenue call Monday so I have a three day weekend. Hoping to get some cleaning & reading done. I have lots of books I want to read and only so much time to read them. 3y
CocoReads A little snow here and a big chance of it tomorrow (while I‘ll be at work). Relaxing day. Read quite a bit and now getting ready to go pick up pizza for dinner (and my lunch for the weekend, if I‘m honest) 3y

Velvetfur I hope the talking to teachers wasn't too stressful for you (not due to the teachers of course, I mean the subject matter) - sending hugs anyway 🤗 Today I went out on a nice walk around a local park with my sister, and we stopped off at a local bakery on our way home and bought loads of food for us and our parents, haha! 3y
TheSpineView I didn't work today and Monday is a holiday. It will be nice to have long weekend. I hope to get lots of reading in. I also have stuff that needs to be done around the house too. Hopefully you'll have a quiet weekend. 3y
