Curl up with the perfect cosy read and the latest novel by the bestselling author ofJust the Way You Are. 'Every day is a perfect day to read this. Shari Low After the end of a long-term relationship, local weather girl Bea Armstrong has been avoiding her family, and their inevitable I-told-you-sos. But with Christmas fast approaching, she is finally on her way home to Charis House, the school in Sherwood Forest that her mum and dad run in their old family home. And to top it all off, the insufferable Henry Fairfax who her parents have always wanted her to marry has also been invited. Relief comes in the shape of a last minute interview for her dream job. There are just a few minor problems... The interview is in Scotland, Bea has no car, and the snow is falling already. The only solution is for Henry to drive her could this Christmas get any worse... But during an unforgettable two day interview, a stay in a log cabin and a nightmare journey through the snow, Henry turns out to be nothing like she thought. And when Beas first love and recent ex shows up, Bea has a difficult choice to make... Reading Beth Morans fabulous novels makes every day better. Cute, predictable, and a tad cheesy.

Andrew65 Well done, yet to read this 👏👏👏 7mo
willaful I've been reading this and I'm kind of into the romance but just hate the plot so much. I think I've just going to skim forward for the romantic parts. 7mo

Most of the holiday books I read this year didn't quite do it for me. Quite a few, like this one, were what I'm starting to think of as #kitchensink books- there was just too much going on. Bea is dealing with: a family both dismissive & demanding; an undermining coworker; a COMPLETELY ridiculous and unacceptable interview for a new job; missing her ex; getting reacquainted with a childhood friend/ possible romantic partner; the potential loss ↕️

bookandbedandtea ⬆️ of the family estate, which has been a school since Bea's childhood; a hospitalized grandmother; and a secret search for her dad's dad in the hopes her long lost grandfather has enough money and guilt to save the house/ school. And, somewhere in there, it's Christmas. Frankly, there was too much going on for me to care about it all. 9mo

#WinterReadathonDailyChallenge.
A rare wintery sunshine scene in Norfolk. This was taken during the beast from the east but it has a Christmas card theme to me. Love the snow on the branche❄️☃️ #WinterReadathon

Andrew65 The Beast from the East was a bad one. Don‘t think snow is far away now. I too love snow on branches and evergreens. ☃️☃️☃️ (edited) 10mo
kezzlou85 @Andrew65 it really was. Never seen so much snow and chaos. It brought people together though especially in a rural area like here. It just looks so pretty. 10mo
