Not only my favorite cover of the books I've read this year, but one of my top reads! Wonderfully sweet until it's not 😈 It's hard to know how much to talk about; the tag line lets you know it is going to turn dark, but the romance really is nicely portrayed, and the main character's internal thoughts are is so well described. At just under 200 pages, it could absolutely be a one-sitting read. I did three, but it was hard to put down in between.

I didn‘t realise it was a horror romance but I‘m surprised at how good it is so far. It won‘t hurt to come out of my comfort zone!

I enjoyed this book way too much for my own good! It was very short, only 200 pages or so. And it was like a very lyrically written cross between Silence of the Lambs, and the Blue Beard fairy tale. Very enjoyable! Very dark!

Ha! I love this reference. If you are ever bored (or weirdly curious) go read the love letters James Joyce wrote to his wife, Nora! Be prepared for some weirdness though that you will not soon forget! ??
