panI was so intrigued by the premise of this book, but it completely fell flat for me. The writing style was frustrating, and the mystery wasn't all that thrilling. ⭐️⭐️

pickThis is a dark and fascinating historical fiction set in 1950 England. It features an Arctic adventure as told by Constance, who was disguised as a boy on a ship trying to find the Franklin Expedition, and Maude, her sister who seeks revenge for Constance's death. The title led me to expect some humour in the story, but this was a more serious tale with a slight twist and a satisfying ending. Thanks to NetGalley for the digital ARC. 4/5 stars
Sounds like a perfect read once the Thanksgiving festivities are over I am going too cuddle up and begin this adventure.
