One of her more convoluted murders, it‘s set in a big country house in England with a shooting, an unfaithful man & too many suspects. Bk3 of June & Bk1 of #14Books14Weeks2021 is done! The 1st in the Mudsomer Murders cosy crime series was very much darker than I was expecting really. Which was awesome. Some of the characters are so different than the tv show, which honestly I should‘ve expected. It‘s well written, engaging & highly enjoyable with a bit of a shocking ending. Which is everything you want in a crime novel. Loved it. #SeriesRead2021 #StackingTheSeries 👇

Bk14 of March is done! It‘s also my #Doublespin book this month🙌 This classic, slightly depressing novel is set in 1930s Monte Carlo, then the Manderley estate in Cornwall England. A young naive girl is swept up in a whirlwind romance & married to Maxim De Winter & becomes the new Lady of Manderley.
