I was across the country visiting family for a few days and when I returned I was exhausted but wanted to start on #14books14weeks so I picked this one off of my stack. I have never read manga before and heard such great things about this title. It was definitely cute but I won‘t be reading the rest of the series. Light pick.

I'm so happy to be reading the next in the series. This time Kanda and his friend rescue a cat from a dilapidated building. However, Fukumaru is not liking the new cat and they are fighting each other. Will the cats get along? Love the graphics and the story. Looking forward to reading the next one.

These books are so fun. Wish I had known it was a Christmas book before I had started, but still a good read in May. Apparently this was the last of this series written in the 60‘s and the rest were written in the 80‘s and beyond. #SeriesLove

Blueberry I used to listen to them on audio years ago when I commuted 40 minutes to work. I love the narrator, George Guidall. 5d
TiredLibrarian I read those years ago. Great fun; thanks for the memory! 5d

Absolutely a must read! This book is wonderful and Emily Jane is a talent to watch. The best part for me was how normal problems and relationships are endearing, with spaceships (a bit of a) second thought. This is a love story of life here, and out there. Intelligent life is wherever you find it, even if it‘s a choncky cuddle cat (not a spoiler. A fact.)

Reggie Okay, okay, stacked! lol 5d

Book 8 in the vampire knitting club book. Cozy mystery, a wedding, murder and witchcraft.

Finished on 5/12/25.

I wasn‘t sure what to expect from Starter Villain, which was my first book by John Scalzi. It was a quick, entertaining read. Loved the cats and dolphins. Makes me wish I had an uncle like Jake… well, maybe. All in all, I think Charlie rolled through the various twists and turns quite well.

Eddie was kind enough to wake from his nap to pose with the book. Then, he promptly curled up and went back to sleep.
