pick3 ⭐This is about a city cat that goes on vacation to the country. While exploring the yard Brina meets some other cats that tell her she‘s not free. She can‘t do what she wants because she is owned. AThis book was really about bullies and the tricks bullies used to make you feel bad about yourself so that you‘ll like them. To be honest, I didn‘t like this book. I thought it was too slow and the story a little overdone. I did like the artwork.
I really enjoyed getting more backstory on secondary characters and the ever-expanding universe view and intergalactic politics going on behind the games. And that epilogue?? Things are about to go down!!

This was funny from the start and it never stopped. The first POV from Charlie, the MC, was the best part of the book, in my opinion, as we experiance a lot at the same time he does. Not to mention the mutual surprise of sentient cats and dolphins willing to strike in protest! The additional characters are sooo much fun and I'm in love with them all.What a fun surprise to end the year!
pickWhat an adventure! Janey is living a very different life than most kids, but it‘s funny how universal feelings are. Friendships, moving, facing fears, speaking up for yourself, and learning the world is a bigger place than your own narrow point-of-view are things we all, more or less, encounter at one point of another.
pick“Entertaining and quite cute,” per my Manga-loving son. When I told him how much I loved this book, he said he‘d read it, too. A few story lines were meh, but for the most part they were cute, funny, hilarious, always entertaining. There are some brilliant story lines: e.g., when the cat saves our MC from a vampire!
@LibrarianRyan introduced me to this series during an exchange last year and husband gifted it to me for Christmas. I adore it.
