Movies of the 80s | J�rgen M�ller

I ended up with a score of 134/187. I used to be a big movie goer, at least once or twice a week. Then Covid came along, theaters shut down and I got out of the habit. Since 2020 I've seen two movies in the theater (the last Fantastic Beasts movie and Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny).

2.I stayed in a perfect Airbnb in Chelsea in London once,that would be my dream home!
3.A nice walk with my husband in good weather to get an expansive sweet breakfast accompanied by good coffee!

mandarchy I had no idea it was a book! I was talking to (a perfectly mature adult) about this movie for a moment before realizing that they looked confused. Apparently not everyone has seen this movie. Which is funny. I don't really watch movies anymore - so if it came out after 1990 - I probably haven't seen it. So I can't be judging the young people. 3y

TheBookgeekFrau @mandarchy Yup, it came out in 1981. And I know EXACTLY what you mean; I was talking to one of my daughter's army buddies who is 22 and I mentioned MacGyver and then was like, 'oh wait, do you even know who MacGyver is?' 😅 (he did lol) 3y

mandarchy @TheBookgeekFrau I had a co-worker stare at me in complete oblivion when I said something about God's cigar. She had never seen or heard of George Burns. BTW, he wrote one of my all-time favorite books about Gracie Allen. 3y
