Reading the enthrallingbook,The Winthrop Woman. This was a gift I received years ago,from a Litten-I apologize I cannot remember who.
It‘s a wonderful follow up to the book Beheld.The first part recounts Anne Winthrop‘s life in England before she emigrates to Massachusetts Bay Colony In 1631. I am excited about where this book brings me.

We‘ve been doing service projects in Girl Scouts this month. Over the weekend we delivered dinner to people transitioning out of homelessness, and yesterday we made food packs for people who are facing food insecurity. Today I took time to made my yearly donations to local charities. Among the charities I support are the local Friends of the Library, the county Humane Society, Hope for Horses, local volunteer fire Department and a few others.

Very short excerpt from ch.4- a hilarious account of aspiring playwright Roydon reading aloud his first play(set in a brothel)to an motley, unlikely, puritanical cast of characters thrown together for Christmas at their wealthy uncle‘s house. I could not stop laughing out loud which felt wonderful! Maybe the hour, 2 a.m., contributed to my giddiness?!

Started A Christmas Party #holidaycheer- hope to read at least 30 pages.
