What a lovely story of how so many peoples' lives are changed, in both big and small ways, by Nightingale Books, the little Bookshop in the town of Peasebrook. When Julius Nightingale passes away, his daughter Emelia comes back home and temporarily takes over his bookshop. Everyone in town stops by to make sure Emelia knows how much her father and his bookshop meant to them.

I am planning to reread the entire Black Dagger Brotherhood series starting in June. Read one book a month. Thought we could make it fun. Maybe play some games and have a chance to win swag. Do giveaways. Let me know if you are interested and please help me with ideas to make this fun.

This is my second book finished for the #AwesomeApril readathon hosted by @Andrew65

I reread this book for #LitsySciFiBookClub and loved it just as much this time around. The MC, Elma York, has this charisma about her that draws you in. She fought many uphill battles to reach her dream of becoming an astronaut and did it with a dignity we rarely see today. 5⭐️

Super sweet romance story about a music teacher, Billy, and his teenage rock idol Margot Hammer, former drummer for a wildly popular rock band. Loved the slow burn and how their relationship developed so organically. I read this in one sitting. 4.5 ⭐️

This is book 7 in the Fallen Men series and can be read as a stand alone. It is Mia and Axe-man's story. The plot was a good and I liked Mia a lot. She is strong and fearless. Not so much a fan of Axe-man. I thought he was an ass. Despite not liking his character, the story is compelling. 3.5 ⭐️

All caught up now. Even though it has been a hit or miss with me on this series, I plan to read book eight when it comes out.

A bittersweet story of the triumphs and sorrows of life, and how we try to pick the pieces up after the sorrows; the friendships we make along the way that dampen the sorrows and amplify the triumphs.
