Sweethearts | Zarr

On #loveyourpet day, Bell was having emergency surgery on her tummy and a splenectomy. She came through just fine, like the tough girl she is, and we can‘t wait to have her back home. Teddy and I (and daddy, of course) miss her terribly.

All The Dogs Of My Life: A Virago Modern Classic | Elizabeth Von Arnim

And last but not least is my big baby Dali. She has gone blind since Christmas. She can tell light difference but it‘s not unusual for her to sit and stare at the wall. She has also lost 30 pounds in the same time period. She‘s 15+. But she‘s still happy. The moment she‘s not we will do what we have to, even if it will kill me to do it. I‘m not looking forward to that day. #loveyourpet

Hooked_on_books The beauty of dogs is they really don‘t need sight the way we do. What a wonderful home you give her. I‘m sure you‘ll savor every day you have with her. Dogs are love and letting them go is so awful (I lost one recently and am still reeling from it). 5y

I know it‘s #loveyourpet day but I could kill a puppy. Her and the other furry ladies are finally getting along and most house accidents #1 are stopped. Still working on #2. And she chews on everything. I had to tell her to stop chewing on the table legs. And I may finally have to buy new flip flops.

bTW does it count as dusting if I accidentally suck my curtains up in the shop vac?

RainyDayReading So cute! I‘ve got one that chews too. Thankfully he doesn‘t chew on furniture or clothes but put a pillow, blanket, stuffed toy or slipper in front of him and it‘s just a flurry of fluff 🤣 5y
