Dinner from last night, hand breaded tenders, Mac n cheese (extra cheesy) and crispy tots (this is hubbys plate, I don't defile my tots with a smothering of katchup!!) it was super yummy! RebeccasReading I think I need this. I can boil eggs, make a mean salad, and I've figured out how to throw chicken and veggies in the oven and have it come out as dinner. That is all. 7y

annahenke @Writergal that's about where I used to be/am. I have successfully made a number of recipes from this book, though. I recommend it! Really detailed instructions with process pictures. 7y

MeganAnn Had to stack this! I cannot cook either... But I can bake. If you want pie or cake or cookies I'm your girl but if you want an actual meal, then we are having frozen pizza because I cannot make real food. I always screw it up! 7y

mom2bugnbee That BH&G cookbook is my go-to wedding gift. My mother has it, & I received one when I moved out of my parents' home in 1993. Such a classic. 7y

Daisey @MrBook Many of these don't include tots, but I guarantee there are at least a few recipes in that stack of cookbooks that do! ? For example, the ground beef cookbook has a tater-topped casserole recipe that calls for "frozen fried potato nuggets." 7y
