In some ways this is just as silly as When the Moon Hits Your Eye, but it has so much more sweetness and heart. A reread for me, and just as good as the first time.

Scalzi plays on all the stereotypes of fantasy and sci fi to write the opening to a series that doesn‘t exist. I repeat, even though it says it‘s book one, it‘s not. It‘s a parody of a series opener. It‘s very short (an 11-minute read) and often funny. An easy final read for June‘s #authoramonth @Soubhiville
I started this short story last night to squeeze in one more book for #authoramonth. @Soubhiville
#JuneSpecials #Cheese I remember really enjoying this years ago. I don‘t have a copy to refresh my memory!😄
This book took me some time to get through because, life. It is a good examination of what it means to be a viral sensation and the positives and negatives that come with it.

I‘ve gotten in the habit of falling asleep to Pride and Prejudice 2005 on Netflix & it leaves at the end of June so that‘s today‘s haiku.
Netflix, addlepates!
P&P 05 leaves soon
What shall soothe my sleep?
It is a truth universally acknowledged that I love a book that does exactly what it says on the tin. There are a few clunky moments, naturally, but overall the zombies are woven in far more smoothly than you might expect. I particularly enjoyed the expansion of Lady Catherine de Bourgh as a notorious highly-skilled zombie assassin.
