I only realised after the fact that this is part of a series. Nevertheless it can be enjoyed as is.

Even without knowing the background of the sluth ladies, I really enjoyed their personalities, witty banter and internal struggles.

The plot was somewhat far-fetched, but I suppose that's typical for a cozy mystery.

Enchanted_Bibliophile @Texreader I always struggle with Q, X and Z. So when I see a book I blindly dive into it. 6d

To say this book was not what I expected would be rather an understatement. Why did I think it was about UFO‘s? I don‘t know… yes there is a passing mention but… anyway, it was an interesting read. My lack of knowledge about Mexican politics felt acute whilst reading it. Another book where none of the characters are really likable, I seem to be drawn to them this year. I honestly have no idea how many stars to give it… #litsyAtoZ #Q #Booked23

BarbaraBB Well there‘s a UFO on the cover… I immediately thought of an SF read! 💕 2y

I think what I love most about this book is the strong female lead and that women are rulers in this world. It‘s a refreshing take that isn‘t done as much in media. I‘ve already started the second book in this series. I really didn‘t expect to love this book but I‘m so glad I picked it up for #litsyatoz #q #seriesread

4⭐️ A very interesting look at the Dionne quintuplets told through a series of fictional diary entries and actual newspaper articles. #2021 #bookstagram #bookreview #historicalfiction #canadian #fiction #basedonatruestory #litsyatoz2021 #q

4⭐️ I am a very big fan of the royal family and this definitely helped that itch. And it helps to get letter #q off the list! Anyways a very good #biography of a little known child of Queen Victoria. Fun fact: the province of Alberta is named after her (her full name was Louise Caroline Alberta) as is Lake Louise. She also is responsible 4 naming the city of Regina, Sask. #2020 #nonfiction #victorianage #letterq #bookreview #bookstagram
