I am still sorry I didn‘t put this one on my #AuldLangSpine list (I thought it might be too extreme for some) because it is one of the most memorable books I read in 2025. Gleefully gory horror, it won‘t be for everyone but I enjoyed it & I‘m looking forward to the movie coming out this year.

pickDELIGHTFUL! It‘s an exquisite Christmas tale, full of inappropriate behavior and gruesome murders. If you need a break from saccharine Hallmark Christmas movies or holiday rom-com novels, let this be your escape. It‘s a quick read and joyously grotesque.
pickI needed something completely different than my usual to read and remembered this one, recommended to me this summer from a friend. This was so disturbing and delightfully creepy! I loved the visual writing. And surprise! It‘s even a Christmas book!!!
