This was interesting. Two twins are on a camping trip with their father. After an accident, the sister and brother must search for help and come upon a creepy town that is under the protection of a giant scarecrow.

A story about the power of sibling/twin bond

Hi @BookwormAHN 🐈‍⬛😊💝.

This book gave me zero search words.

Between the early hours of Oct. 20th to the early hours of the 23rd I managed to read seven and a half hours total, equalling 70 points.

Plus 25 extra points because this was on my original, TBR start points post.

These 95 points together with my previous 115 points all totals to 210 pts.

🐈‍⬛😉👍.

Thank You.

No Bingos this month for my #BookSpinBingo card - I think I will be going downhill with Bingos with school starting. But... i read and listened to some entertaining books -- that's all that matters :)

#TheAromaOfBooks

Also, I did end up getting my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin book :)

This graphic novel is about the power of writing and words. A brave young printer's apprentice and her found-family work to expose corruption in their city.

I wasn't too excited when I realized this was a pandemic story, but I shouldn't have doubted Kelly Yang! I was pleasantly surprised by such a lovable MC as Knox with his ADHD and big heart! The portrayal of sibling relationships was great too!

Unpopular opinion, this one didn‘t work for me. It has hilarious scenes but it was too political with a real politician which didn‘t work that combination for me🤷🏽‍♀️ But most people enjoyed it. 2.5/3⭐️

I got back from 12 days in LA/Anaheim late last night so didn‘t think about #bookspin until late today. Here‘s my list. I need to catch up on some past bookspin books, so I‘m not sure I‘ll get a bingo this month. #thearomaofbooks

ShyBookOwl My Plain Jane is a really fun one! I also love Northanger Abbey 😊 2y

Pickpick

Mixed feelings with this story. At the beginning it started like a thriller and suspense story. Nick, a journalist unemployed, returned to his hometown in Maine, a new job is waiting and he can be with his mother who apparently suffered a stroke. Things are not like he always believed. He will discovered that false memories were implanted in his memory and everything and everyone in town is involved in this. ⬇️

Gissy The story turned in horror/supernatural with bio technology elements. Because I didn‘t expect that, I almost put the book down but I took a chance and finished it next day accepting that the story turned in something different from what I expected. With that open minded attitude as a reader, I enjoyed the story🤷🏽‍♀️I really like how the author developed the character and the plot. But that turn can be disappointed for some people. 3.8⭐️
