I went into this book expecting a lighthearted teen romance, but ended up weeping at a heartwrenching, imcredibly beautiful portrayal of family ties changing and causing pain, love‘s complexities, and one girl‘s fight for what she knows is right. This book is important and well worth the read. 5 stars ✨

Damn it. This is book is going to make me cry, isn't it?

OriginalCyn620 Yes, it will. Prepare yourself now for an ugly cry. 🐶 7y
valeriegeary @Lindy @CynthiaFBuck Nothing horrible has happened yet and I'm still sniffling. I probably shouldn't read any dog books! 😄 🙈 7y

This is one of the few #booksthatmademecry but still a great read. I really like how it changes perspective because each character had such a different take on problems throughout the story. #jodipicoult #booksthatmakeyoucry #summerreading

I am not a book crier. Even tragedies don't make me cry much. However, once in a while, there will be a book that gets to me. Like Nick Bantock's The Forgetting Room, that I re-read every year. It's an important book for me.

Fault in Our Stars | John Green

How about a whole genre of books that make me cry? YA is heartbreaking. They should sell Kleenex alongside the entire John Green sections of bookstores. 😢😰😭😥😪

britt_brooke This book wrecked me. I loved it, but holy cow. 7y
Vexingcircumstance None of the YA books I read are sad. So it's not the whole genre lol. I avoid the sad ones. To many depressing things in real life and to much real life anxiety. I read to escape all that. 7y
BeththeBookDragon There was a whole hashtag #fuckJohnGreen for making people sob uncontrollably! 7y

Robothugs That one in particular made me cry more than once. But I agree his novels made me cry at least once. WHY JOHN GREEN, WHY?! 😭 7y
