As the reader gets to know Nino and the dog that he didn‘t have, the reader also gets drawn to Nino‘s surroundings, his seemingly-transient and makeshift home, and the fact that he seems largely unsupervised and slovenly, with an environment that seems bleak and deserted. I couldn't not add this book from my past. This is my favourite pre-school story. I love this book. Five years on, I recite exerts to my 9 year old, who loves those memories.
It's actually about a ballerina dog, who wants to see his name in lights, and he does.

The book Dogs on the Bed is a children‘s literature/realistic fiction written by Elizabeth Bluemle. The book is about a family trying to read a story in bed but on the bed there are dogs making noise. This book is perfect for children especially the ones with pets because the story is reliable to what families with pets go through.
