Now that @StayCurious and @Clwojick have made the very understandable decision to not host the #Scarathlon this year (and honestly I don‘t even know if I have the bandwidth to participate in an event like that) would anyone be interested in a month long Readathon? Maybe like a Scarathlon lite? No teams or points but maybe a weekly check in and some games? Let me know if you‘re interested.

Dear Littens, unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to cancel our #Scarathlon event this year in favour of spending more time with our families. As many of you are aware, @Clwojick is mom to a new little one and I myself am very busy with my 2 1/2 year old. These events require a lot more attention than either of us is able to give at this time. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you enjoy your spooky season!

My Scarathlon point total for the second half (Oct 16-31) was 59,444 points. (Love those sprints with story anthologies & #ScarathlonWordSearch words) for a grand total of 88,886 for Team #SpookyGhostClub !!! 👻🖤👻

I am happy with my numbers, my reading time in a busy work month & the 34 books I finished.

I had a huge second half of October for a total of 72,399 points making my total for #Scarathlon at 99,277 points! I‘ve never done so well! Although I always love a good #bulletjournal set up, I think I‘ll be going back to my old chaotic ways for this years #wintergames,& just have hundreds of loose sheets of paper & a clipboard. Makes it so much easier to print bingo boards, or track time for individual readathons when you‘re not working with a set amount of space. Although I wasn‘t the best at posting this month, I did manage to finish a total of 117 books, including kids books.😛👻

This is such a fun event, I had a blast reading some spooky books and managed to crush my goal of 31 books by finishing 33 and some short stories.

I listen to #audiobooks as often as I can (I was listening to one just now, but I had to pause to type this), so I had a lot of fun filling this one out. I fell off a bit the second half of the month since going back to work after a 12 week Leave of Absence. It was a really fun month and it was great seeing everyone‘s posts! Until next year!!

I don't know that my points are that great compared to what I have been seeing out there (my points totaled 37,301), but this month I read twice as many books as I normally do - finishing up 21 books, which is absolutely crazy, since I didn't take one day off of work this month. Plus, I completed some Octobery things to do. This has been such a nice month!

I racked up way more points in second half of #scarathlon! I dug in with the reading, and the word search games earned me more points than the first half. Plus, the bingos helped too. This was my first time doing this and I had a blast!

Day 30 - treat - this messy treat was so good. This was part of my caramel apple bar. It was a messy task, but it taste so good. After a few yummy fails, I still haven‘t mastered it. But I will keep trying and feasting.
