pickA dysfunctional family story which is apparently a retelling of James‘ The Ambassadors, which I haven‘t read. I mostly enjoyed reading about the interplay between these characters who, although they are family, are essentially strangers, but end up wreaking all kinds of havoc in each other‘s lives.
Once again, I've been away & I'm back. ☺
It's been a busy season - in May, my older daughter graduated from Boston University & my younger daughter finished her freshman year at Dean College. I'm teaching a summer course right now which is keeping me quite busy, but in two weeks I will have much more time on my hands! I've missed you, Littens! bailedIl primo romanzo breve della raccolta, "The turn of the screw", non mi è dispiaciuto, anche se anche in questo caso (come per "The Haunting of Hill House") ho preferito decisamente la serie di Mike Flanagan rispetto al libro che l'ha ispirata. "Washington Square" invece mi ha fatto passare la voglia di finire il libro.

It doesn‘t get much love here on Litsy , but I remember liking it.written in 1897 , it may be of interest just because nobody wrote about divorce much back then,especially how it might affect the child.
