I managed to read two books by Erik Larson this month, both on audio! I think my favorite of his is still Isaac's Storm. And I still want to read Dead Wake. You can count on Larson for a solid narrative non-fiction!

1. I suppose that it's the same as the difference between a “work of fiction“ and a “novel“. One may seem fancier than the other but I think they are basically interchangeable.
2. I don't really write anything serious but (shameless self-promotion) I do host a podcast about books and writers/authors.

As well as #booked2022 I think I‘m going to up my game next year and try #authoramonth too. It seems like a great way to discover some new authors, gets some books off my TBR pile and read outside my normal. @Soubhiville please can you add me to the tag list 😊
Playing author top trumps 😁 a few of my favs!

Who are the #authoramonth choices for January? Have any books been chosen for these authors?
Repost from @KatColmer :
Hello! Fellow author Heidi Catherine told me this is THE bookish place to be, so I‘m listening! I‘m a #yalit author & Teacher Librarian, books are my world! My 1st novel, The Third Kiss, is a fast-paced paranormal romance set in Sydney, Australia, featuring an ancient love curse. My 2nd's a YA Contemporary due out beginning 2019. I love talking about all things reading & writing and connecting with like-minded souls :)
Let‘s see:
1. Emma
2. Mrs. Sherlock Holmes
3. Year of Wonders
4. Lassie
5. House
6. Mo Willems
7. Tina Fey
8. Simon Winchester (10)
9. Anne Brontë
10. Rainbow Rowell
11. Stephen King/Richard Bachman
12. Nope!
13. F. Scott Fitzgerald
Bonus: The Royal We - Heather Cocks & Jessica Morgan
This was fun! @Kaye #namegame
Thanks for the tag @BryanaB
🦉Patrick Rothfuss, so we can have a chat about him finishing day 3 of the King Killer Chronicles.
🦉The early 70s so I could see The Stones, Bowie, Pink Floyd and some other of my favorite classic rock bands in their prime.
🦉I don't think my life would make a good movie.
🦉I tag @kspenmoll @bookish_wookish @merelybookish
Author #3 - Who am I? Guess what author this is and name one book he wrote. If you love this author I would love to hear why and how you got turned on to him? Here is a hint he passed away in 1993.
The wonderful @LibrarianRyan has put together a list of authors on Litsy for easy viewing. I know there are a few I need to go follow now. Thank you, Ryan!!
If you know of any that need to be added, please return to her original post and leave her a comment.
#SEYA2017 is in the books! A great time, despite a March snowstorm in The Deep South™. Some amazing speakers on this "Super Panel": L to R - Becky Albertalli, David Arnold, Sharon Cameron, Courtney Stevens, Adam Silver, I.W. Gregorio.
