As an interlude between reading all 4 Inheritance Cycle books and then almost spring-boarding myself into Murtagh, this was nice! I liked seeing different aspects of Alegaesia and checking in on my fav (even tho his story was the shortest smh my head).

I DID IT. But these will be the only High Fantasy novels I read this year because I hate High Fantasy. :) The after-climax ending for this series was two hours long. I‘m just here for my Murtagh, and I‘ve got one more book before I get to him. 😭

For the love of all the gods and all the dragons… I get that Paolini has created this very full world, but good lord do I need a 20 min description of something that can be said in a paragraph? (Dear Reader, High Fantasy is not for me lol) One more and then I can read Murtagh. 😭

…Eragon with the elves was starting to piss me off LOL. I wish Arya could say “hey no, this age gap is weird, we can‘t date” and Eragon would respect that? I get that he‘s legit 17 but damn. No means no, and having to apologize TWICE in the same book with the same lame excuses is just…brother. I kept it pushing, though, bc I liked seeing Roran mature, and checking in with Nassuada. Also, Murtagh. :) I‘m a Murtagh girlie thru and thru.

I always forget how much i love this series. Although i'm not a huge fan of the voice actor. I do not like how he does the dragon's voices. Lol
Thank you @sarahbarnes!
I am so excited. I havent read this one yet. Currently re-reading them all.

Thank you @MaleficentBookDragon for putting it together
Starting the audio book. My main complaint so far is the reader's voice for Saphira. Lol he makes her sound like an old lady 😂
Finally completed this reread. To be honest, I struggled a lot. It seemed too slow and there was too much dwarf politics for my taste. But I made it. The world-building is meticulous, but I wanted more action. I love the imperfection in the characters though, and it‘s fun to see the author grow book to book. One more reread in this series and then to the new one!
