My shelves mix new + used, MG/YA/adult, fiction + nonfiction, which I tried to reflect in my stack.

I'm late to the #AugustPhotoChallenge game, but after going to the store today and coming home with peaches, I couldn't NOT post my #PeachBooks for #Day15 . Lauren Beukes remains one of my favorite authors. I just received a digital ARC of her new collection, Slipping, and I'm so excited!

Here are my #peachbooks. Yes I do have trouble letting go of favorite kids' books! Mouse and the Motorcycle helped me survive a miserable week of summer camp back in the 70s.

Years ago I worked in the children's section of a public library. I remember recommending this book to a young reader. A few weeks later he came back and told me how much he loved this book. Me too.
