I gave this one a soft pick (⭐️⭐️⭐️). Seems if you know Scumble River, you‘ll probably be into it. For me, a fine but not great cozy. Not as cozy as I‘d have liked…

We went to dirt track sprint car races Saturday and there was a little free library. My husband just sighed and said make it quick 😂 Turns out I grabbed books 1,2,4 of this cozy series, so guess we‘re going back this weekend 😆😆

Welp, it turns out this book is set in September, not August, so not a #SeasonalCozies head start after all 🫢. Never fear, I found an August and am ready to go for next month. 😁 Still reading this though… a little cozy palate cleanser.

Another audiobook that I managed to finish during my midnight shift last night. Denise Swanson is one of my favourite cozy light mystery authors, and I will always recommend her! +16 for #TeamSlaughter

Dollycas‘s Thoughts
Denise Swanson is a remarkable storyteller. Come Homicide or High Water is a marvelous addition to this series. Entertaining characters wrapped in a delightful story that includes mysteries that are interesting and fun to try to solve.

Just got home from a long day of shopping, and happy to say that I‘ve finished off two audiobooks, and started a third. So far so good with this one. I‘ll certainly be checking out more from this author. #audiobooksforDAYSSSS

Another book I read on a flight. I bought this book as part of a book sale a while ago and finally decided to read it. I wouldn't say it's super good but it scratches the itch for a formulaic mystery with a little bit of romance.

Just finished this ebook cozy mystery. So much fun, and exactly what a reader would look for with this genre. Can‘t wait to read more in the original Scumble River series, and future releases as well!
