Clare-Dragonfly This bit reminded me of the chapter of Little Women where they have a similar bazaar and all the snobby ladies are jealous of Amy so they send her to a crappy flower stall and sell her artwork themselves. So Laurie gets her better flowers and brings all his friends to buy up all her art 😂 Anyway, Maggie is doing the exact right thing by going off to another situation, but I fear more drama will ensue anyway. 3w

Leftcoastzen Made me sad too. Maggie is painfully aware of her diminished station in life ,trying to muddle through. A cloud hanging over everything, so true. Every relationship is tainted by the drama of the past. 1mo
