I finally got my tree up! I didn‘t put the ornaments on it yet but it‘s up! 🎄

My Christmas TBR is not going as planned. The plan was to finish the Cinnamon Bun Book Store and then read the Christmas Tree Farm and start my Christmas TBR from there. Im skipping the Dream Harbor books for now and jumping to the rest of my TBR!

I almost made it out of Barnes & Noble with one book but then i saw this on my way to the cafe! Ive been lucky to have spent a lot of the 90‘s and early 2000‘s going to shows at Toad‘s. Some of the most epic shows and experiences! I cant wait to read the stories and say “I remember that”!

Stopped at Barnes & Noble while i was waiting for my son to get out of work. I was hoping they would have this book and i ended up getting the last copy!

Im starting this one today and im realizing that after working all day and then being in bed hours before i should be, these books are the perfect read!

I need to start reading more of the cozy mysteries i have!

This one is definitely a romance and not a cozy mystery like i initially thought. I really enjoyed the story though and it was a perfect light read for fall. I can‘t wait to start the next one since its about Hazel and Noah!

I don‘t know much about classical music but what i do know is that Jon Batiste is one of my favorite artists. If you are someone that likes to listen to music while you read, i highly recommend Beethoven Blues!

This book almost feels like you are going in and out of consciousness. It will make total sense then no sense at all. Chaos and genius. In all that chaos there is actually a story. A good story. I cant explain it. This is very much in the vein of Fight Club. A fever dream of a story for sure.

So its been a few years since i hosted the Little Christmas Swap and i was thinking of doing it again this year. Im just trying to see how many people would be interested. Its also been a few years since i hosted the Lonely Hearts Club swap for Valentines Day so im thinking of bringing that one back too. Both were 1 book and some treats. Ive been so excited for The Teller of Small Fortunes that i preordered it last month from Barnes & Noble!

I wasnt lying when i said a quick read! About 20 mins because i read slow! The illustrations are beautiful and really give life to the story. At the end Susanna gives an explanation on how the story came to be and it was very interesting. I definitely recommend giving this one a read.

I know its the night before Halloween, but library books wait for no one so im diving into this quick read!

All you need to know about this book is that every single one of these reviews is a lie. Theres so much wrong with this book. I almost bailed a few times but i stuck with it and i really shouldn‘t have. What i think it‘s about is family dysfunction turns into a “haunting”. But im not sure because it was all over the place but repetitive at the same time. Also I have no clue what the ending even meant, which irks me.

My #HHS came today but im not sure who its from!

Weekend camping and a spooky book!

Ok, let‘s give this one a try!

So i picked this up yesterday from the library and its almost 600 pages so i started it today and was really lost as to what was going on. I didnt realize you had to read Ordinary Monsters first and i dont think i ever finished that one so back to library this one goes!

Started this one on my lunch break today but it‘s not horror/thriller so I‘m considering putting this one to the side and keeping on with my Spooky TBR.

Phew what a wild ride this book was! Its a super slow build but in that time you‘re getting to know each character in the friend group. Really good character development. Its a pretty complex story with a lot of details and layers but everything plays out so well. The story has a solid ending with no questions left unanswered and it‘s super twisty!
