Starting this book about Fall while sitting outside in 80 degree weather…in October…in New England.
This one took me awhile to read because September was busy! I read the first one 5 month ago so the story line was still fresh in my head. This one was a lot more emotional than the first. I still had a hard with the love/fear relationship between Zade and Addie. Close to the end of the book I was already over it. This one has all the triggers and more. It‘s very very graphic and dark. All in all both books laid out a really good story.
Some of my preorders that came in over the last few weeks!
October is going to be an expensive month with all the orders I still have coming in!
October BOTM picks are live!
What are we thinking?!
I was hoping for more spooky options!
Thank you so much!!! @Aconight I love everything!! The candle and book sleeve are amazing!!! What a great start to Fall! 🧡🍂 #FFFS #FallingForFallSwap

Stop everything my hold finally came in!!! I‘ve been waiting on this book for months!
Browsing around Barnes & Noble until I have to pick my son up from work. I also have a gift card because after going through my TBR I realized I had duplicates of two books! Oopsy! #bookishproblems
Starting this one while wait for for some instacart orders to come through!
Just finished this one on my lunch break. This took to me way too long to read for a 194 page book. I do have to say this would be a good palette cleanser as it is a witty sometimes playful read. I wasn‘t rushing to pick it up because it wasn‘t a story where you have to know what happens next. It‘s written from the thoughts and conversations of a nameless narrator. And the thoughts are all over the place and jump around.
CT Littens… Did you know that this existed?! I stumbled across this on instagram. I couldn‘t fit the whole description in the picture but if you go to www.wallingfordlibrary.org you can read the while thing. I want to do this!
I have so many preorders coming in this month and next! I should be ashamed of myself! But I‘m not! #bookhoarder
A few weeks ago while we were camping I was eating my cereal and reading the cereal box (as one does) and saw that you could get a free book just by uploading a picture of your receipt as proof you bought the cereal. So I uploaded my recipt and got to pick a book! This is the one i chose!
Its here!!! @Aconight I can‘t wait for opening day!!! 🍁🍂 Thank you in advance!

Look how amazing these are! Peanuts vintage record and book plates! I found a whole bunch of these at the thrift store last night (53 to be exact 😊) to put in my etsy shop!
Starting this one today.
I may or may not have a problem here! I‘m still finding bags from BN! I have zero business buying anymore books but what did i do last night….. bought a book! Oh and these are all unread in case you‘re wondering! 😅
Stopped by BN last night to get my first Starbucks PSL of the season and knock two books off my TBR! 🎃☕️
And the Pumpkin Spice book was only $5 with a cafe purchase!
September BOTM picks are live!
What are we thinking?!
I‘ve been (im)patiently waiting for this to come in at my library! I can‘t wait to start it!
Came home from vacation to some bookmail! I had this one preordered otherwise I would have grabbed it with my BOTM!
Last night camping so I‘m starting this one and will have to finish it when i get back to reality!
This book was a wild ride! Think if Daisy Jones and The Six was written by Chuck Palahniuk. It was written in interview form which worked really well for story. And it‘s exactly as the title suggests, Lily‘s ex boyfriend is the Antichrist. The story is about the band finally giving an interview about what happened and the literal fight with music and the battle of God and the Devil.
Now I love my 90‘s hip hop but I really love reggae/dancehall. If you get in my car 99% of the time Bob Marleys Tuff Gong Radio will be on! I‘ve loved all things Bob since the early 90‘s and whenever my parents see something they buy it for me. At a tag sale my Dad found this book and bought it for me! What i didn‘t realize is this book was published in 1983 (Bob died in 81) and the author interviewed him and his family for the book!
Holy shit this was good. How pretty is this book by the way?! I don‘t even know how to explain this story. There c romance, the fantasy and the religious aspect blended seamlessly. I actually thought this book was horror and not romance/fantasy but it didn‘t dissapoint.
This one took way too long to read. It wasn‘t as good as the first one. The story took a long time to get going and didn‘t have the build up that the first one did (which maybe it wasn‘t meant to have). I ended up skipping pages at the end just to finish it.
Started this one today and I‘m already hooked! I‘m loving these cozy fantasy books!
Definitely should be sleeping but I stayed up to finish this one! Whimsical is a good way to describe this book and the characters. A story of hope, friendship and community! I can‘t wait to read The Enchanted Greenhouse!
Stopped by Barnes & Noble to get my free tote and picked this one up off my TBR!
Started this one on my lunch break and I have The Enchanted Greenhouse on deck! I had to bail on The Bewitching because it was due back to the library and I was having a hard time getting into it. I‘ll give it another try when my hold comes back around.
Yes to Fall swaps! 🍂🍁
Just signed up for the Falling For Fall Swap hosted by @Avanders @Chrissyreadit
So excited!
August BOTM picks are live!
What are we thinking?!
I‘ve skipped the last 2 or 3 months and I think this month may be a skip as well!
This was a good one! It takes place in the 1940‘s on a train so it definitely has that classic mystery feel. No cellphones, no social media just a classic whodunit with a side of revenge! It kept me guessing until the end which I always appreciate!
One of my preorders is here! I‘m excited about this one!
This was definitely a quick read but it fell flat for me. This was said to be a thriller but it missed the mark. It was definitely a twisty story that kept me guessing but it moved very slow. This was a miss!
Started this one today. I‘m not sure what to expect with this one.
Let me tell you S.A. Cosby knows how to tell a story! This one was so complex with so many moving parts but it all came together seamlessly in an unforgetable family drama that was heavy on the gang violence. So good!
I really liked this story. There was enough mystery to keep me interested and it was a unique story. The author in her note said she wanted Shearwater to feel like it‘s own character and she definitely accomlpished that. I do feel like the ending didn‘t get the emotion out of me that it probably should have. Still it a really great book start to finish!
This was me reading by candlelight last night when a storm rolled through here and knocked the power out. Finally got power back about an hour ago!
I bailed on The Doorman at 187 pages. I hate bailing that far in but i just couldn‘t get into it. So instead i finally finished Water Moon and now I‘m starting this one.
July BOTM picks are live!
What are we thinking?!
I saw the picks on instagram yesterday and knew it was going to be a skip for me!
