I‘m really enjoying this one!! 💛🩷
What are you reading today?
“I fling it onto the old, slouchy couch, sending it the disgusted glare that all bras deserve after a long, hot day.” 😆😆 yes!! Every day!!
This was a sweet, lovely read. Not top of my favorites of hers? But still something I was really looking forward to. Georgie is a wonderful MC ❤️ Kate Clayborn‘s novels give me all the feels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think I‘ll start this one to get me over the last one (Pretty Girls 😱)
💛🌸💛
A small town romance that doesn't feel small. Georgie loses her job as a PA when her boss retires and goes back home to help her pregnant best friend. She meets the older brother of her highschool crush who happens to be the former town bad boy. She finds an old notebook full of things she wanted to do & they decide to do them together. This was sweet, funny, and at times poignant. It was as expansive as Georgie herself. I adored it.
“That‘s always how it is with Levi: what I want, but better.”
Such a good love story, full of past heartaches, present hopefulness, and future dreams. Really enjoyed this one!
A grump/sunshine romance. Nice moments between friends, nice moments between siblings, but I‘m not sure I understand how these two fell in love.
I can either really loathe another follow.the.list storyline or I can love it. This one is more of the latter but more so because I loved the grumpy x sunshine romance and deep friendship between Georgie and Bel. Also, mad props to Kate Clayborn for all the pun-ny nicknames woven throughout for Georgie, and Cal, etc.
3✨ I have mixed feelings about this book. I really like that Georgie, our female lead, found her high school journal of things she wanted to do. She decides that since her life is off track she will spend time with her friend who is expecting, mark off her bucket list items, and in so doing return to her hometown. The second POV is Levi, who has lots of rumors and a rocky reputation when he was in high school a few years before Georgie.⬇️
The bright yellow cover matches this fluffy modern romance. 28 year old Georgie is lost after she loses her job. What is a girl to do? Why, go home of course, help her pregnant BFF and try to recapture who she is with the help of an old high-school journal and a hunky local (who needs some love).
I just wanted the love interest to get the love he needed. I didn't really click with the story, it was just eh.
What a cute book! I loved Georgie! I adored Levi! What good, messy fun with just a lot of heart between these two characters. And I loved all the supporting characters too. 💝 So glad I got to end this beautiful day by finishing such a great read! #52bookclub23 #atitlestartingwiththeletterG
My opinion would be higher had the first half of this book been reduced to a single short chapter. But I really enjoyed the second half and the consideration of how difficult it is to be a mentally healthy adult when you grew up keenly aware you are unloved by your parents. …A bump in the relationship is a required required trope a romance, but I did think Georgie was too hard on Levi. …I guess I‘m Levi all along :)
Going to start reading this tonight and have a bit of after dinner dessert
Sunshine and self care Sunday.
Georgie‘s story feels a bit like my own life right now.
I really loved this #BOTM pick! I‘ve enjoyed Clayborn‘s earlier novels, but this one may be my favorite yet! Titular Georgie returns to her small VA town after her last job as a Hollywood PA suddenly ends, feeling adrift and out of sorts. But the discovery of an old pre-high school notebook, helping her best friend and an unexpected meet-cute turns this into an emotional romantic comedy! I loved Hank, and the human characters, too! A fun read!
A week after finishing this (and grieving leaving vacation!), the impact of this book has faded. BUT it was a great vacation read. The characters felt authentic and the premise was fun. Putting Clayton‘s other books on my TBR now!

Not what I expected from blurb. Love messy and expansive Georgia. Also Levi and his trauma from childhood. Both I see within my relationship. He‘s so sweet to her, so vulnerable, that still gets him in trouble. Georgia is so soft, and bubbly. Pretty steamy chapter, though I‘m not one for the sex this early in a relationship, they got it working out. Including understanding each other, talking like adults. I liked the ending. Georgias got it #ouabc
There was a lot I really enjoyed about this small town romance between an ex-Hollywood personal assistant who doesn‘t know what she wants and a bad boy turned small business owner still struggling with his old reputation. The spice was fantastic, for one. But the last hour took me forever to read, I was just bored by that point and knew how it would end.
My choices for #BOTM 💛📚 I really need to cancel my membership 😫 🤦🏻♀️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
With the most lovable characters and a ton of heart, this romance is completely swoon-worthy! It‘s comforting like a strawberry milkshake, hopeful like a notebook full of dreams, radiant like a moonbeam.
For some reason, my brain immediately pictured Zoey Deutch as Georgie, but I‘m open to casting suggestions for who would play Levi in the movie! 😂 #BOTM
I had totally forgotten about #BOTM! Where did this month go?! I chose Georgie based on @swishandflick review!! I think I will save it for summer! 💛📚 The cover of The Last Russian Doll ❤️💛
I loved, loved, LOVED this book. Wouldn't change a single thing. The characters, their journey's, the healing, the love. SWOON. #BOTM
Made for a perfect rainy day read on this cozy "self care" day of mine.
I loved this one!
Georgie and her friend Bel made a notebook when they were kids containing all kinds of things that they wanted to accomplish before high school.
When Georgie moves back home to help Bel prepare for the birth of her child, she decides to do as many of the things in the notebook that she can in hopes of gaining some clarity.
Fun, sassy, and kind of like a hot Hallmark movie. This was a fun ride 😄

A wonderful palate cleanser. After losing a successful job, Georgie goes home to her eccentric parents & their unconditional love. Georgie desperately wants to understand the what & why of her own wants & needs that have been a lifelong “blank page.” At times funny, with heartwarming characters of depth.Themes of self acceptance, letting go of the past, friendship, forgiveness & love.

Starting this right now.

Plan to start Georgie All Along- have to attack that huge library stack! Other plans: finish Accidental Death & Dearest Josephine, continue with Revelations. #libraryhaul #audible #sundaybuddyread #nunlit
Kate Clayborn is absolutely one of my favourite romance writers! Every book she writes, I love and Georgie All Along is no different. Her books, no matter what the premise, always contain the perfect balance of warmth and humour, with that bit of heat.
Would this count for “messy bun,“ do you think?
I really loved this by the end, because it had so much warmth and understanding about human foibles, and carved a happy ending out of a pretty complicated situation. I had niggles all through though, because though I love Levi's complex POV and found it very insightful, the way he sees Georgie just never felt like it matched with who she is from her own POV. Might just be a me problem.
After three dark books in my January #BOTM box (and I still have to read two of them), I thought I would go with something light for February! 💛🥰
Whew, now you KNOW I've been distracted when everything about #BOTM completely slipped my mind. Hadn't given a single thought to sleuthing for spoilers or anything 😱
BUT I'm pretty excited about this box! Something about the description for Georgie just speaks to my soul. And since I already ordered the new Jojo Moyes through Authentic Books, it made it easy to snatch up the other two that look like solid, escapism reads (which is what I need)❤️
This is the first time I have read this author and I quite enjoyed the book. I admit at times I wished for more dialogue and action and less inner thought, but still found all the characters delightful (even the dog) and I loved Georgie's parents. There was also a surprising depth to the story as Georgie comes to terms with who she is and what she wants out of life that would make this a suitable (albeit lighter) book club choice. 4/5 stars
My #2022ReadingBracket is complete! Poster Girl was my favorite read of December, but it couldn't beat Georgie, All Along. None of the books could. It was my favorite book of 2022. Which is kind of funny as the book doesn't come out until 1/2023.
Georgie, All Along was definitely my favorite read of November. #2022ReadingBracket
