Starting on this book for our book club meeting on Wednesday.
This was a cute rom-com story great to get you in the mood for Halloween! Quick, easy read with a couple steamy scenes.

5 stars! Fr. John discusses the 4 phases of our redemption: Created, Captured, Rescued, and Response, giving great insight and practical considerations throughout.
Several years after my Pauline Literature course at seminary, I finally finished the entire book! It goes fairly in depth on both scholarly questions about the texts, as well as themes and theological implications.
My #spookathon TBR: All Systems Red, The Devouring Gray, A House of Ghosts, and The Chestnut Man.
Just a few books from @bookoutlet chilling on the couch, wolf-whistling and giving come-hither looks to any reader who passes by.
@OriginalCyn620 I was 2 days late finishing my book, but then read @Samreamer ‘s book in two sittings! So I‘ll be sending both on when the post opens!
This was a fantastic read! I really connected with all of the characters. The plot was believable and the author has an amazing way of making you feel what the characters are feeling every step of the way.
At some points, I was upset over the decisions they made, but they were always authentic to the character's nature and made sense from their perspective. I read this book in one long binge session, and a quick final sprint.
I participated in the Do I Have That Book? Challenge! See it at cadyly.com. If you‘ve made a post or video for this challenge, please link it below! I‘d love to see how you fared! I‘m tagging @CrowCAH
What else is one to read during Holy Week? #Catholic
I‘m hosting a giveaway on my blog: cadyly.com! Check it out, then follow the last day of fun on Twitter at @ rereadathon2019!
Do you have the 1994 TOR version of Pride and Prejudice?
For my read books, I like them in Author order. But it looked messy, so I pulled all the narrower ones out to make an even line and am much more satisfied! #bookshelfprobs
Yay! I just received all of these books from Book Outlet! I love collecting some of my favorite titles to stock my library!
First book recommended to me in 2019!
There's an analogy in the story about truth being like buried water and no matter what you do, it will always find a way to the surface. The plot of this book is like that as well.
It was slow, but satisfying. I loved the characters. This was more a tale of resiliency and peace in the day-to-day and coming to terms with who you are in your current situation, which I found to be refreshing.
4 books read this week and I might finish another tomorrow! Don‘t you love a good reading streak?
I just re-read The Darkest Star. Still love it as much as I did in November. Luc is my kind of guy. 😎
Stacks and stacks of books from around the house to organize and shelve!
I would give this book 3.5 stars.
I really do like a romance that had some sassy banter between the characters, and this had that. However, there were times that I felt that Ren came on too strongly. As a soldier type, he should have more discipline than he displays verbally. The actress‘s male voice in the audiobook really didn't have a good pitch. It just made some of the whack-ass things that Ren was saying sound that much more ridiculous.
End of the night coziness with a blanket, hot chocolate, and a fat book!
Is anyone else doing a “read the rainbow” challenge this year?
I love using stickers in my planner to document my reading. I just got some cute ones from my friend, Monica! Audiobooks, ebooks, library trips, oh my! 😍
Cozily reading on the chaise. What‘s your Sunday night look like?
I have a whole TBR bookcase, but picked these up today while out shopping. #cantstopwontstop #booklifeproblems
It‘s legit to re-read a couple books to finish your A-Z challenge before the end of the year, right?
I really enjoyed this story, possibly more than Rule/Shaw. I felt that the emotional difficulties that they had to work through in order to have a relationship read true to life. I think there was the right amount of heat and angst, of promise and roadblocks, to make keep the story interesting. It was like a good blend of reality with a hot soap opera.
My brother got me these beautiful books for my birthday! 😍
Two new bookcases!!! Right is my TBR shelves. Left side, I‘ve read, but obvs have not yet organized.
Under my Sherpa throw, by the space heater, finishing a book series. #widn #cozyreads
This month I want to finish all the books on my “Currently Reading” list on Goodreads and add some cozy wintertime stories. #TBR #cozyreads
So sad to only give this 2/5 stars. I was really looking forward to this story. However, the illustrations were great. Really sweet and evocative with great colors.
This book made a point to drive home a moral message. However, I soon found that the MORAL/MESSAGE of the story really was so prominent, it felt that they forgot to make a plot.
1. Sweet potato dish with a sweet walnut-crunchy topping that my aunt makes.
2. Mashed potatoes and gravy.
3. Turkey.
I‘m pretty basic in my likes. 😀 Unfortunately, I work and will miss Thanksgiving Dinner. Eat up for me!

This book caught my attention and I read it straight through without putting it down. It was interesting to read about a vampire struggling with her humanity vis-a-vis her thirst. There were a lot of themes of trust, loyalty, family, bravery, sacrifice, denial, faith, hope, and acceptance that made this a really worthwhile read.
I never doubt where my love of reading came from. ❤️ #momsthatread #monkeyseemonkeydo #theappleandthetree
It was an absorbing read and I was always eager to see what they would discover next.
We found out what people did, just not always why, but perhaps that wasn't necessary, because this was Beatrice's story. Beatrice tends to see the good in everyone, but this tendency also makes you miss the dark, complicated things that swirl in everyone's heart.
After all of the adventure, I wasn't expecting an ending so introspective and philosophical.
If a book hangover is the inability to start a new book because you‘re still living in the previous book‘s world... What‘s the name for the condition where you love being in some other world so much that you hop from book to book and ignore real life? #bookwormproblems #930pagesin36hoursandcounting #whatsnext
The sarcasm and repartee between the characters made my snarky heart warm and there were several times that I had to FULL STOP.
I was shouting directions at the characters (as if they could hear me), while in the bottom of my stomach was an icy fear of dread, because it was possible that this was all that was left of the people (characters, Jenn, they aren't real) I loved.
All of the blacked out words were like Profanity Madlibs in my head.
I‘m looking to repurpose a spare bedroom into a library and took some carpet samples home. Then, posed some books next to them (as one does). Which color do you prefer? I‘m kind of torn between B and C.
Reading Indianapolis on Veterans Day! Respect and love to all my fellow vets! #GoNavy
