I had almost given up on this book! It starts pretty sad, and I just can't handle sad right now. I thought I'd give it a couple more pages and yes, the heroine comes through and makes a decision on her own of what her life is and is going to be.

Finished these yesterday and started on the tagged book. The wrist warmers are part of a set. The matching beret is on my needles right now.

Still doing a read-along with my kid of the Harry Potter series. And the moose sweater is going great! Knitting the moose part right now.

Been working on a new jumper and listening to the tagged podcast.

This is my favourite urban fantasy/romantasy series. And this next installment does not disappoint! I had a really good time with the book. And I do hope we get to see more of Mercy's half-brother Gary.

Last day at the beach! Really windy this afternoon.
And I can't decide on my next read. As I told hubby: I've got a 100 books on my kindle and still I've got nothing to read. 😅

Perfect beach read

Some knitting while I put my foot up. Still not fully healed torn ligament from back in January.
And I chose a new read, tagged, for our beach holiday. Seems like a nice and easy read

Started reading yesterday. Unfortunately had to stop due to a headache.
This is again easy fare. And I seem to be bingeing Ali Hazelwood books 😅

Rereading parts of the books as I'm trying to set up my goals for the next half year and found this motivational quote.

New bunny alert. The mostly white one is my old bunny. She lost her partner a couple of months ago. Finally found a new bunny (light brown). We'll see how they get along this week.

I liked the first half. The sex scenes became too kinky for my taste.
And the hacking stuff was really badly written. Hacking is not magic, people!

Next up!

Chose this one. Got a fire going. Not feeling very well. I do hope with some rest I won't get really sick.

Got both of these from the library today. Not sure which book to choose.

Started my reread of the Stormlight Archive a couple of days ago.
This year we finally have a mild spring. The magnolia is blooming beautifully and is not getting frozen mid bloom like the last couple of years.

My local library had a book sale. All in all 15 books!

Borrowed from my mum. Can't wait to start!

I really liked the YouTube shorts series and I just had to read the book! And it was even better than I anticipated! The characters are really well defined and the plot is fun.
I'd recommend watching the series on YouTube or TikTok first, just so you know what you're getting into. Also I think that way it's way more fun to see the differences in the book and also the surprises.

Watching "All creatures great and small" TV show and knitting a fair isle tank top. This keeps my hands busy when I still can't walk around that much.

My family brought these two book about permaculture from the library. When my foot is healed I want to start with some small things, probably potatoes and a pumkin-corn-pea patch.

A re-read. I'm just needing some fun Discworld right now.

This is now book 3 of the year and fills the "author not from an European or North American country" spot.
Evershore went on "one word title" and The Bullet Journal Method went on "non-fiction".

This was a fun read. Some of the stories I didn't like, but most were really good.

This is amazingly helpful. I bet I have to reread parts of it to get the most out of it and remember all the helpful stuff!

I tore my ligament this evening 😞 I forgot the last step on our front door. Well, I at least hope to get more reading done now that I can't, you know, move.

Now things with bullet journaling begins to click. I never really thought about the reason behind specific logs. And I've never done the migration or reflection part!
In short, I didn't do it right. So I'll try again and this time I have specific times set aside for journaling, too.
So worth it to buy this book!

My first Book Bingo! I thought I'd keep it archivevable ☺️

This should be a quick read. Gave this to hubby for Christmas. These are stories about the nights between Christmas and 6. January. When demons and the great hunt plague the honest folk. But also the veil between the present and future is thin and you can make predictions e.g. about your future wife or husband.

My Christmas book haul! Thank you, Christkind! Both, the cookbook and the fair isle knitting book, were on my wishlist. The tagged graphic novel sounds really good! That was a huge surprise!

Beautiful prose! The first few sentences convinced me, I've got to read this. And if I like the story I've still got time to get the other two books of the trilogy before the library closes for Christmas break

Yes, Tress was my favourite book of the year. And funnily enough the reread Warbreaker still won against the new Sunlit Man.
