Story of a young cat and a young woman. Very well written and excellent drawing!
Trigger warning: animal abuse

Started my reread of the Stormlight Archive a couple of days ago.
This year we finally have a mild spring. The magnolia is blooming beautifully and is not getting frozen mid bloom like the last couple of years.
My local library had a book sale. All in all 15 books!
I really liked the YouTube shorts series and I just had to read the book! And it was even better than I anticipated! The characters are really well defined and the plot is fun.
I'd recommend watching the series on YouTube or TikTok first, just so you know what you're getting into. Also I think that way it's way more fun to see the differences in the book and also the surprises.
This came in the mail today! Can't wait to dig into the history of fabric and how textile creation influenced us in so many ways.
Great progress on the fair isle tank top. While listening to tagged book. I've never read this classic German children's story before.

Watching "All creatures great and small" TV show and knitting a fair isle tank top. This keeps my hands busy when I still can't walk around that much.
My family brought these two book about permaculture from the library. When my foot is healed I want to start with some small things, probably potatoes and a pumkin-corn-pea patch.
This is now book 3 of the year and fills the "author not from an European or North American country" spot.
Evershore went on "one word title" and The Bullet Journal Method went on "non-fiction".
#bookbingo
This was a fun read. Some of the stories I didn't like, but most were really good.
This is amazingly helpful. I bet I have to reread parts of it to get the most out of it and remember all the helpful stuff!
I tore my ligament this evening 😞 I forgot the last step on our front door. Well, I at least hope to get more reading done now that I can't, you know, move.
Now things with bullet journaling begins to click. I never really thought about the reason behind specific logs. And I've never done the migration or reflection part!
In short, I didn't do it right. So I'll try again and this time I have specific times set aside for journaling, too.
So worth it to buy this book!
"We need to reduce the number of decisions we burden ourselves with so we can focus on what matters."
This should be a quick read. Gave this to hubby for Christmas. These are stories about the nights between Christmas and 6. January. When demons and the great hunt plague the honest folk. But also the veil between the present and future is thin and you can make predictions e.g. about your future wife or husband.
My Christmas book haul! Thank you, Christkind! Both, the cookbook and the fair isle knitting book, were on my wishlist. The tagged graphic novel sounds really good! That was a huge surprise!
Beautiful prose! The first few sentences convinced me, I've got to read this. And if I like the story I've still got time to get the other two books of the trilogy before the library closes for Christmas break
Yes, Tress was my favourite book of the year. And funnily enough the reread Warbreaker still won against the new Sunlit Man.
First half of my 2023 reading bracket. And from the beginning of the year every book had to compete against Tress!
I'm crocheting a bell with my daughter. She's never done such a complicated project before. But she's doing great 😃
Such a pretty book and soo not for me. A very annoying snowflake of an MC and an abusive love interest. Nope just nope 👎
#wondrouswednesday @Eggs
1) Feuerzangenbowle, which is mulled wine with a sugar loaf dunked into rum and then burned
2) Little drummer boy
3) reading before the fireplace with a blanket and a cat to pet
Got these two books from the library today. Now to the difficult question of which one to read first!
Ah, a moment of peace and quiet and a good book.
Secret Project 4 of the year of the Sanderson. I really liked this one. Lots of action and some heartbreak too. Of the 4 secret projects I liked Tress best, then Sunlit Man, Yumi, and lastly the Frugal Wizard.
Nice and cozy in front of the fire.
I'm having trouble recently in picking the right book. But this one caught me up instantly!
I recently brought a bunch of children's books from my parent's huse. I don't recall reading this series when I was a child. Also checking if it's something for my 8yo.
This was a recommendation from my kids.
Faith is a great character, I really liked her. Read through this one really fast. ☺️
This really is a pop song of a book! Had soo much fun reading this!
Some more postcards for my #LitsyLove friends @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @catiewithac @SusanLee @UwannaPublishme @BookNAround @starlight97
A good read. I didn't like parts of it, but overall really good.
Some #LitsyLove postcards from the very North-West of Germany are on their way to @Moonprismpower @Cupcake12 @Mitch and @Sleepswithbooks
Started this book yesterday. A European wide blackout caused by black hat hackers.
The whole scenario sounds familiar with last winters warnings about blackouts due to gas shortages. And also the ransomware catastrophe in a German town administration in 2021.
I hope I can still sleep tonight! 😅
I'm reading this children's classic with my daughter. She loves it and is farther along than I am ☺️😁
The bunnies are keeping me company for my reread of the second book. I finished the second season of the HBO TV series. And I think it's a really good adaptation so far!
@TheSpineView
1) Yes, several.
2) It started off alphabetically for the ones that I've already read. And however they came for the tbr. But now they're all squeezed into every bit of space on the bookshelf 🙈
Was watching the TV series His Dark Materials and now I'm also rereading the books. I'm on season 2 and I really like this adaptation.
Second book int the series. This time they have to thwart a conspiracy that threatens to blow up London.
I liked the character relationships which aren't easy at all. A good read for everyone with a love for Edwardian Fantasy settings.
Joghurt strawberry frappe and a good book! My reward for finally finding some new jeans that fit!
Glad that I mostly read ebook. I couldn't hold a big chunkster at the moment.
It's just a cut, no stitches, so don't worry. Happened while I wanted to drill a hole at the top of the new rain barrel
